[@BurningCold] I [u]do[/u] like the idea of the old magic or druidic magic, but I think werewolves and vampires would take away from the setting - so saying a no there.

I also appreciate the offers on worldbuilding. If there's anything you'd like to see, please let me know, and then we can all work together to see how we can fit it into the world~

It's not up, yet, but the king has been dead for 20 years now - so if it's a 16-year old knight commander-to-be, they're too young to have gotten a rune from the last king. As a general question, it'd depend on who sits on the throne if you get one before or after acquiring the rank of knight commander.
