As for my character, since everyone seems to be leaning toward standard mages and spellcasters, I'm gonna go the opposite and make a tanky boi. I'm gonna try to resist the urge to play a character I'm currently using for another RP, just to spice things up, but the temptation may be too great lol

I'm thinking his Lesser Rune (whenever he would get one) would give him physical enhancement magic, like increased strength or durability
