Her daily walks, so hostile in the winter, were about to get a whole lot easier when spring came proper, and all the trees burst to life. She couldn't wait. And so she wasn't walking as quickly as she'd done for the past few months, really taking her time to enjoy herself. She was in the middle of a long stretch and yawn when she encountered something...strange. It wasn't Erin. Mimi quite liked the Miller siblings, actually; there wasn't an overabundance of people her age in Starlight Cove, and she vividly remembered spending time with the two when they were all fairly little, before things had started to really go downhill (or at least before she'd been mature enough to realize how far downhill they'd gone). She didn't get to see them as much anymore since their schedules didn't align incredibly well, but it was always pleasant when she did. She definitely wouldn't call them strange, at least no more so than anyone else living here. Especially not holding her cargo in the morning. The Millers bringing a delivery of bread to the Alderdices was almost as predictable as the sunrise. No, the strange thing was, well...a stranger. Mimi's eyebrow shot up. She almost never saw new people here, tourism was just about dead. Her easy pace sped up, and she let her cardigan fall open, exposing her black turtleneck as she trotted up to the two with a wave. "Morning, Erin!" She stuck her hands in her pockets, throwing her weight on her left foot as her right rested lightly on the ground. "Who's your new friend?" Keeping her voice light and friendly, she smiled at the blonde young woman, doing her best to hold back a yawn as she withdrew a hand and brushed an errant strand of hair from her face. "Love the coat, it looks wonderful on you! So what are you in our sleepy little town for?"
