[color=6666ff][b]Powers/Abilities:[/b][/color] The Summoned Stars

Ethan has the ability to summon miniature suns, little glowing balls of gravity and heat. He is able to change the temperature of the star. Red stars can be touched. Yellow stars burn at the same temperature as fire. Blue stars are able to melt solid steel.

He is able to summon many small stars, or a few large stars. The stars can become as big as about six by six feet. He is able to summon these stars at his hands, feet, or around him, and then shoot them in any direction, straight or curved. If a red star were to be shot forward, it would have the same impact strength as a swinging metal bat.

[color=6666ff][b]Weaknesses:[/b][/color]

He may use the stars as shields, however, electricity can pass through them. Powerful insulators from heat can also render his stars moot. Cold temperatures can make it harder for him to summon and sustain stars. So, placing him in a steel ice box can essentially render him useless.

[color=6666ff][b]Personality:[/b][/color]
Haughty, smooth, aloof. All the traits of a likeable villain. He enjoys getting what he wants with a smile. He enjoys playing cat and mouse. He enjoys gaining and exercising his power. A bit of a negotiator, if there is something he wants, he'll sweet talk for hours to get it. At least, until he gets bored. Then he might try to intimidate. And, in rare cases, inflict enough pain to break someone, and take what he wanted in the first place.

[color=6666ff][b]Background:[/b][/color]

Nova City, with its vast technological advances and pro-corporation ideologies often didn't have enough for government programs like child foster care systems. Ethan grew up in such a system, removed from his abusive biological parents only to end up in neglectful foster homes. He was bumped from one foster home to the next, becoming more dysfunctional and angry with every move.

One night, he was on the rooftops, like he normally was, staring up at the light-polluted sky. That night, he saw a shooting star. He made a wish that he would have the ability to change his destiny, and went to sleep. As he slept, he had a fever dream, and when he awoke, his room was on fire, alight with small stars coalescing about. 

Everyone got out of the fire safely, himself included. It was chalked up to a freak accident, and he was moved to a new foster home. But this power started to allow him to push back. To fend for himself.

He ditched his foster home and lived on the streets for a bit. At least, until he did his first successful heist - a jewelry store. After that, he bought a shabby bachelor's apartment. Then, he would take on more daring heists, eventually making the news as the Masked Solaris. He bought a better apartment. He bought some men to work for him. He bought an office floor in a tower as his base of operations. 

He continues his heists, his eyes on gaining the attention he was refused as a child.

He runs the Solaris Gang, a small group of hired guns and informants that help Ethan keep his finger on the pulse of the city and the world at large. They also help find and assist in heists. They also identify potential hazards, like cops sniffing around his establishment or work.

[color=6666ff][b]Motivations:[/b][/color] He is definitely motivated by power and money. Maybe a little notoriety. If he became the top wanted criminal, he'd be okay with that.

[color=6666ff][b]Base of Operations:[/b][/color]

He operates the Solaris Gang on the 48th floor of the Arakana Tower in Nova City.

[color=6666ff][b]Public Perception:[/b][/color]

He is definitely viewed as a menace. The handsome devil that would steal the ring off your finger. So far, he has stayed ahead of the police force. But his luck could change at any time.

[color=6666ff][b]Combat Style:[/b][/color]

He definitely has an aggressive combat style. He tries to overwhelm and overpower, while keeping himself hard to hit.

[b]Description:[/b] Null, or Syla Nullus, is one of the underlings of the Masked Solaris. She is incredibly devoted, and is surprisingly serious, despite her chibi features. She blames staring into the abyss all the time - it has a way of emptying you.

Her main job as Ethan's right hand is to liaison with other villains and ensure the day-to-day operations in the Solaris firm are kept running smoothly. She also sometimes acts as a mouthpiece of Ethan's, with almost as much authority as his to ensure everything keeps functioning.

[b]Power:[/b] Black Hole Creation

The ability to create miniature black holes with incredible gravitational forces. She is able to create more than one around into a shield, where each will absorb an attack into its depths. She can also create a black hole and collapse it to create a shock wave that has enough force to snap bones and send people flying. Mainly, she uses her black holes to threaten people with being sucked into the void.

There will always be a two second growth period where a black hole is too small to have effective gravity, ensuring she cant kill people automatically. And, black holes become too strong and unstable after about ten seconds, where they must be collapsed to avoid accidentally sucking her in. 

She can only create black holes about a thirty-feet radius around her.

[b]Description:[/b] Stemming from warped Christian beliefs, she believes that sins are expatiated through pain. And that anyone who goes against her beliefs or intends ill for her is a sinner. Those whom she deems as good have suffered, and come out from it transformed into someone that aligns closely with her beliefs.

It's how she gets along so well with Ethan. She serves him and the Solaris Gang happily, having been first attracted to him through his initial suffering. 

Now, she is the boots on the ground outside, dealing punishment and passing judgement that befits both her and Ethan's grand designs. 

[b]Power:[/b] Cursed Flames of Pain

The barbed wire around her arm is actually a condensed version of this fire in its solid form, constantly in her flesh and causing her pain as a constant. When she wants to use her powers, these barbed thorns turn red hot, and catch on fire, burning her as she same time she activates her powers.

Because these are cursed flames, she can simply look anywhere, and ignite it with cursed flames. They take on a red/black hue, and can't be put out by water or a lack of oxygen. They feast on flesh and pain, and can only be put out by explosive means, usually granted by super powers. Be that an electric shock, or a blast of ice. The victim must suffer in some sway to get the fire removed.

[b]Description:[/b] She shows up when she is called. Very much a ‘behind-the-scenes’ type of hero, she can see the big picture. She often employs other heroes to help her in causes of good.

She has been in Nova City for the past year, drawn to it from the darkness gathering. In that year, she has spent considerable time gathering intelligence on the prominent villains. There are many heads of the serpent beast she has uncovered, and she knows she will need help to cleanse Nova City.

Her birth was special. Born with wings, and her halo manifested early on, she was noted as a ‘divine child' by global news before she disappeared from the public view for years on end. It is only recently that she has made her appearance, ready to lend a hand to help the world.

[b]Power:[/b] Divine Light

Auri's Divine Light can be divided into the following subsections.

[i]Darkness Detection[/i]

Auri is able to detect how dark a person is (how evil they are), and where they are (roughly). Her area of detection is about a city's worth wide. She uses this to detect the coming and goings of criminals, where evil is collecting in the city, and which places are worth a closer investigation. She also uses this to judge if a person's actions or words are dark or light, which is handy as a lie detection.

[i]Darkness Bane / White Light Creation[/i]

Auri is able to generate white light, which feels warm when it touches good people, and burns and sears when it touches evil or dark people. She can generate beams, balls, or coat objects like her sword in this light. The more evil a person is, the more painful and devastating her light is, able to disintegrate bones for the most evil.

[i]Flight[/i]

Her wings and halo are permanent manifestations. Her wings allow her to fly in a versatile manner for up to as long as a half hour before she has to rest. She has the same speed of flight as a bird, so she can fly fairly fast. She can carry someone while flying, but will exhaust herself twice as fast.
