Robert/Claudia

It would seem that the quest was an escort quest. Robert hated NPC escort quests. Why? For the same reasons, gamers tended to hate escort quests. Having to be mindful of weak NPC that more often than not had stupid programming such as pathway and whatnot was a pain. But not Claudia. After all, escort quests were exactly the sort of quest Claudia would have taken. For the former noble knight, quests that directly help people, especially 'knightly' quests such as an escort quest, were a reminder of better days. Days when she had not yet beholden to an evil deity due to her pact made to save her homeland. And thus, in the role of Claudia, the character, the avatar, nodded with a determined expression, "I do not mind escort quest. Rather, I probably would say that I quite enjoy them." As two more players joined their group, a bard and a monk, Claudia gave the two a smile, "Certainly. We can always use more help. Provided the rest of my teammates agree, of course, but I don't foresee any objections." After all, from a meta-perspective, a bard and a monk round up the party nicely. A monk for more frontliners to help Rathello, and Bards were notorious utility build, a swiss army knife, of sorts. Then, he turned to Goibniu, replying to his question.
"Just checking from everyone here, does anyone have focus on distance-based attacks? Feels like most of the playstyles here would be to be in or near physical attack range. Probably need to be extra careful.."
"I do not exactly focus on distance-based attacks. But I do have some ranged spells, such as eldritch blast." Typically, if Robert was in a hardcore, full RP session, he would not disclose that. Claudia would try to hide her affiliation with the evil god out of shame, after all. And these were all people she had just met. But as much as Robert wanted to roleplay as Claudia, he also did not want to be one of those hardcore roleplayers who did not know boundaries and forced RP on people who did not RP. And thus, as he had been doing this whole session, he cut back on the roleplay and became more forthcoming, only using Claudia's personality as the Avatar in the truest sense, being a 'terminal' he used to interact with people in Endoroth. As the group agreed to take the two along, they did some shopping, where Claudia replenished her supplies of potions, before going along the party to meet the wizard they were escorting. While the newcomer bard seemed to hold no interest in the story, Claudia listened attentively. For both Claudia and Robert, the lore was something they were interested in.
