She doesn't trust people very easily, and she doesn't show a lot of concern for others either. She comes across as rude to people who don't know her, because she's mute, but most people assume she's ignoring them on purpose, even when she's paying attention. Still she tends to pay more attention to the sound and patterns of a person's voice than the words they're saying. Because of this, and the fact that she has to use sign language, write, or use her quirk for telepathy, she doesn't do great in conversations. She keeps to herself, although when there is actually an emergency that's life threatening to a civilian she won't hesitate to jump in. She tends to think more like a Villain than a Hero, which becomes quite noticeable whenever she links her mind to someone. She's a 'If they're not dead or dying, they're fine,' kind of person, especially when it comes to the rest of Class 2B. It's not a secret to the rest of Class 2B that she grew up as a Villain, what [i]is[/i] a secret is why she switched sides and became a Hero instead. [sub][b][color=teal]Q u i r k[/color][/b] Mind Link[right][b][color=teal]Gen 5[/color][/b] - Psychomania - Repressed[/right] [/sub] Kanako can link her mind to the mind of anyone within 25 meters who she has completely memorized the voice of. She establishes the link by aligning her mental voice to the voice of another person she's heard, until it's a 1 to 1 match. Once the link is established her mental voice usually goes back to an ambiguous voice, distinct from the other person's, to help her distinguish her thoughts from the thoughts of another. Her eyes and the eyes of whomever she links her mind to glow gold when her quirk is active. From there it is an equal link for both sides, meaning both parties can attempt to manipulate the other. The person with the stronger will generally have more control over the other. If the other party has a significantly stronger will, they will be able to completely kick Kanako out of their head, and she will loose recollection of their voice. She can only link her mind to one person at a time. They can be used together as one blade. They're dexterity knives, not strength knives, so the blades are heavier than the handles. He’s sassy, and a bit snarky, and can come across as a bit stuck up, but he’s very loyal and protective when the situation calls for it. He’s very honest, and doesn’t really understand people who lie for fun. He likes to talk to people, and play chess with people who have equal skill to him, or are better than him, because he likes a challenge. He also likes to write poems, and listen to stories. Because of this, he’s a very good person to vent to, because he’ll always listen, and try to understand the best he can. [sub][color=teal]Origin[/color][/sub] His family were originally from the UK, but moved to Japan before he was born, so he speaks with a British accent. Gou grew up in a small, mostly unknown city, always having the dream of one day becoming a Hero. He has a supportive family, who encouraged him to pursue what he wanted, even though they didn’t have much money to get him into a good school. He trained at a low rep public Hero high school, where he graduated top of his class, and then came to Eirei to finish his studies with a scholarship to cover his expenses. He started in class 1C before being promoted to 2B. He's good at reading people, and has figured out a lot about his classmates from the way they talk, how they react to certain things, their expressions, and their body language. Gau tries to ignore the fact that almost all of his classmates are traumatized and or murderers. Tries being the key word. He picked his Hero name, Jawbreaker, because it’s his favorite kind of candy. [sub][b][color=teal]Q u i r k[/color][/b] Spiritwalker[right][b][color=teal]Gen 5[/color][/b] - Metamorphosis- Awakened[/right] [/sub] He has the appearance of a Spiritwalker, being quadrupedal, having hooves, and a reptilian face, and a tail. He's very large, standing at 5'10" shoulder height. He’s not very fast, but he is strong, and defensive. He has enhanced strength, and all his senses are stronger than most people’s, except touch. He can track people by scent, pinpoint a person’s location from a single sound, see in the dark, and has a more defined sense of taste than the average person. He has bark and moss growing on his back, and is like a walking mountain in a way. He blends into the wilderness well, with natural camouflage. Although he doesn’t get many opportunities to demonstrate this. He can carry up to five people on his back at a time. He uses this in rescues and evacuations. He has the jaw strength of an alligator, and venom that he can inject into his bite victims to paralyze them, although he tries to avoid doing this when he can, because the effects have a fifty fifty chance of being permanent. [sub][color=teal]Supermoves[/color][/sub] ° Walking mountain - Jawbreaker uses the full force of his body to tackle an opponent, similar to being run over by a galloping horse. ° Hoof strike - Jawbreaker rears up then stomps down on an opponent with his hooves. ° Half bite - Jawbreaker uses half his full jaw strength to bite a person, hard enough to break bones, without using his venom.
