[b][color=cde0e1]How did you discover your powers:[/color][/b] Several months ago Ben was visiting his parents at the lab they work in. While there an accident happened and the terrigen mist was released into the building. Ben’s parents died, despite his mother being Inhuman. He went through terrigenesis. 

[b][color=cde0e1]General History:[/color][/b] Ben grew up in London well loved by his family. Included the extended family. His Uncle Matt visited often with his wife Cass. He grew up in the city, but loved going out of town to the country. From a very young age he was interested in entomology. He was always outdoors and playing in the mud type of kid. Even when that wasn’t an option in the flat he grew up in. 

His parents made decent money as scientists. They had met during the M-Pox crisis and became leads in the study of Terrigen mist. His mother, an inhuman like his uncle, had been exposed. She knew she was Inhuman before that because of her brother, Matt. 

After the lab accident Matt and Cass sat down and decided they would adopt Ben. This was partially because of him being their nephew and also because they can’t have biological children. Matt and Ben had already been close while he was growing up, having told him stories and taught him about fighting and guns (though Ben isn’t interested in those (it’s weird in London, seems to be an American thing)). 

Ben appreciated that his Uncle was willing to adopt him but he feels like that was almost for show since he was almost immediately sent to the Academy. He only had a few months between his parents dying and going to the Academy. It seemed, to him, that once Christmas had passed his Aunt and Uncle were sending him to school.
