Anyway, when i was running my game, i decided to add a point of consistency to this by giving the party [url=https://disney.fandom.com/wiki/Magic_Sword]Drynwyn[/url]. With the idea being that Drynwyn wouldn't work for any of the party members, but, as in the movie, it chooses its weilder by choosing a noble-hearted champion who cannot defend himself.
