Most home worlds name themselves for their local word for "dirt" or variations of ("That Which Holds Our Roots" being one), which has led to a lot of confusion.
That is an excellent observation. I prefer contributors simply pick a random name for their planet. It may or may not be defined locally by an indigenous language meaning "dirt, earth, or that which holds our roots." but that is fantastic! I love that simplistic observation.
Interstellar travelers should know the hexadecimal catalog number for their system and world to avoid destination errors.
Yes, I will think of some means for identifying the location of these planets/systems once more worlds or star systems have been added to this compendium. I am still working on the Baku's home world of Harton which will also include props and ships as you mentioned. So, yes. Props and ships are both welcome and encouraged. As the Baku are based on Japanese history/culture, their planet name should have the word -shima in it (Island) based on your suggestion of calling the planet "dirt" in the local language, but I would prefer random creative names; something that you like.
