Since he managed to create an opening for Ven to hit Uion Grydon started to think the fight might be easier than he expected. His confidence wouldn't last long though once Uion started to build up energy and even glow. At first Grydon expected another beam or something, but instead Uion used enough force to send Ven flying without much effort.

When the officer went for another downward swing this time aimed at Grydon he didn't even bother blocking. Instead he tried to dodge out of the way of the axe but like the green Ranger misjudged the speed and got a nasty hit to the shoulder. The force was enough to make Grydon not only drop his own axe but it forced him on his knees as well.
