She looked at the plume of smoke that Hermes pointed out. [color=BB33FF]"Thank you,"[/color] she told him. Relieved that he was there and could help them. 

Mandy hopped into the driver's seat and started driving. Following the route and instructions that Hermes provided. She was nervous and drove cautiously. Probably slower than she should, but considering how many people had been out and about earlier, well she didn't want to press her luck now. She wished they had left earlier. That instead of taking Hannah home they had left then. But she was glad that Hannah had been delivered safe.
