Now all that being said, we should still figure out how exactly they know each other to begin with, other than just 'being in the same class.' 

For a quick rundown of Mikako, her parents are airline pilots, so now that she's more of an adult she's basically in charge of her home and three siblings for extended periods since they only return now and then (to the point that her youngest sibling actual calls her [i]okaa-nee)[/i]. And even when her mom was home prior, she was still constantly being asked to help. So she has a real tendency to take on way more work than she can handle; so she's the class rep, the secretary of the student council, a member of at least one club, is a pro bono tutor, and 100% ready to be asked by any other club to help before she goes back home to take care of her household and siblings (13, 11, 7) before she can FINALLY do her homework to keep her grades up and [i]maybe[/i] relax once the two youngest kids are in bed.

She's like the sweetest girl alive, but she's got a [i]lot[/i] going on.
