Only thing I'd add is that Suzuka probably held off on telling him until almost the eve of the move because she was worried how he'd react, but she did probably explain why she was moving out close to the last moment rather than just ghosting him. Likely would have tried to keep in touch for a while but didn't have a phone of her own so it was kinda difficult, and eventually they fell out of touch. Still probably feels like she left him behind, regardless, though.

Good to know. I mean, he was 12, so imagine that filtered through dramatic preteen hormones. He was seriously sad (although he's going to deny this HARD when they reunite).
