[COLOR=gold][INDENT][B][SUP][SUB][H3]A P P E A R A N C E:[/H3][/SUB][/SUP][/B][/INDENT][hr][/COLOR][indent][indent][i][color=silver]Austen stands 5'8" and has noticeably long, wavy hair which, due to a genetic condition, makes his normally black hair a bit of gray even at a young age. He often has to wear a hairband, a clip, or even tie up his bangs so it wouldn't cover his eyes. His eyes are once dark brown but they've turned into a soft shade of green since he awakened his magical ability. Austen has a resting bored face that others might take offence to but in reality, he's really a bit sleepy all the time. He also gets cold easily so he's always seen with a scarf loosely wrapped around his neck. One constant article of clothing he wears whatever the outfit is his pair of graphic crew socks which are sometimes even mismatched. [/color][/i][/indent][/indent]
[COLOR=gold][INDENT][B][SUP][SUB][H3]B I O G R A P H Y:[/H3][/SUB][/SUP][/B][/INDENT][hr][/COLOR][indent][indent][i][color=silver]Austen's family loved to travel; he's been to many different countries even when he was a little kid. Both his parents were scholars who were very much interested in the history of primal magic on the world and they would go from one country to another, to study on its impact on people with vastly different cultures and beliefs.

When Austen's dad died during an accident, the grief was enough to make his mom stop travelling and the once energetic young lad became quiet and kept to himself. It came to the point where he'd just sleep away the pain of losing a loved one until he had gotten used to the feeling of constant sleepiness. His mom was worried and tried seeing doctors for it but as of now, there seemed to be nothing solid that could explain his condition. 

One of the rare times Austen was animated was when his mom decided to have a boyfriend years later. She got into a relationship because her loneliness and sadness in those years were too agonising for her, more than words could ever say. Her new boyfriend knew of what happened to them and on his part, he genuinely loved her and wanted to help give her a chance to start a new chapter in her life. 

Austen was so upset he slept for an entire day, worrying his mom enough to send him to the hospital because he wasn't waking up easily. In truth, his magical awakening manifested and he was in too deep in his dreams. In them, Austen was sitting down with his back resting against a giant tree filled with an abundance of wisteria. He was surrounded by trees of the same combination of flower trees, and along the grass were beds blooming with all kinds of flowers: carnations, bleeding hearts, poppies, lillies, lavenders, and more he didn't even know existed.

When the doctors told his mom about his condition, she was shocked. She couldn't believe that the primal magic phenomenon, the one thing they spent their lives studying, had affected her son. She and her BF tried their best to take care of him themselves but due to Austen's inability to control his powers, it was clear they needed to send him to the Institute. While his mom didn't want to leave her son alone, and she herself feeling alone again, Austen promised to keep in touch with her most of the times he wasn't asleep. Besides, her BF will always be there for her as Austen reminded her.

When she would come back from seeing Austen off, she would see the ceiling of her room was filled with draping wisteria,her favorite flower, Austen grew while she was waiting for him in their car. It was his way of showing he loved her more than words could ever say.

[COLOR=gold][INDENT][B][SUP][SUB][H3]P E R S O N A L I T Y:[/H3][/SUB][/SUP][/B][/INDENT][hr][/COLOR][indent][indent][i][color=silver]Austen's the type that can go the entire day without speaking to someone, perfectly fine just with being himself too. He's always listless so it can be understandable to think that he's not paying attention to his surroundings, which is sometimes true. He is willing to try stuff out but he's going to do it with as little energy as he could. Not that he's bored or anything like that, he just really prefers to take a nap whenever he could. Ironically enough, his constantly calm demeanor makes him trustworthy and easy to be friends with. If there's someone out there who wants to hang out by just chilling and doesn't require more than five steps to take, Austen is their guy.

[COLOR=gold][INDENT][B][SUP][SUB][H3]A B I L I T I E S / S K I L L S:[/H3][/SUB][/SUP][/B][/INDENT][hr][/COLOR][indent][indent][i][color=silver]As of now, Austen can mostly grow flowering plants and an abundance of them too. The strength of the tree branches and plant vines he can grow is currently enough to support himself so he could create a hammock.

Additionally, give him five minutes and he can fall right asleep anywhere.[/color][/i][/indent][/indent]
