Apologies for being gone so long, been incredibly time poor lately due to work, study and a project starting to kick up into gear. First I'll address the vote, thank you to everyone who responded to that btw~. Graph 1&2 - Game system & PvP freeze So it looks like the majority wants to stick to the original system of Wealth and Personnel as well as freeze PvP combat until May 6th (which will be voted on again then). In this case I think it'd be best to freeze income until PvP returns, otherwise I see resources snowballing with nothing else to spend them on and all of Nocturnia being upgraded to Aristocrat districts. That'll mean from April 15th IC would continue mostly as character/story building scenes rather than active gameplay and we'll vote again on May 6th if we want to return to unrestricted play. Graph 4&5 - Faction vs Faction & Action or Diplomacy Focusses It looks like the majority is leaning towards a Criminals vs Cops focus. Cops and Criminals can of course continue to work together, there will never be any hard rules against that, but the world may react such collusion or be used as blackmail in game if it is discovered. The last vote of focusing on Action or Diplomacy is split down the middle, so the only alteration to the game would be to try keep violence to a measurable scale for the most part. For example: A room exploding into violence, a tactical breach, a bar brawl. Large scale action spanning a district can of course still occur, but the military may shut it down if it gets out of hand/goes on for too long. Next post: Options moving forward.
