Hello there! Thanks for taking the time to read this! I'll get straight to the point: I'm looking for someone to play King Thranduil for me against my OC! If you don't mind doing that, that's awesome, but in return for you doing such a thing for me, I will gladly play someone for you! [That is, anyone, either from LoTR/Hobbit, OR just anyone from any of the fandoms I mention below! Or an original character for a plot you'd like! So you don't have to ask for someone in the same universe as Thranduil! Basically you scratch my itch, I'll scratch yours lol.] So yes, this is a double up request, unless you only wish to play Thranduil for me haha. Most people aren't too interested in double ups it seems, buuuut maybe you're interested in my writing style, and wish to try? Edit: Feel free to ask me for smut writing samples in DMs. I was made aware that maybe some people would like to see my OC info before RPing as Thranduil. So, here she is. This is mostly for people who only wish to play Thranduil, but feel free to have a look even if you want to double up! PLEASE NOTE: I made up a language/country for her, since, as mentioned in this post, I am still very new to the lore, and so I just had fun and got creative. If you have a problem with her but still want to RP with me, I don't mind making her a regular Elf. Also, a lot of this stuff is iffy, we can add on and discuss more details and stuff if you'd like! Feel free to share your thoughts! Here is my OC! The links aren't working yet, I'll add them in later. ---- Name: Lilium Age: ??? Thousands of years old, probably even older than Thranduil. Height: 5'4 Eyes: Very light silver Hair: Long white hair Body Type Example (This is just her body shape. She has very pale skin, silver eyes and long white hair, but here are examples of how I imagine her shape to be!) [1] [2] Image: Here are some reference/aesthetic photos I have found, if you're not okay with drawn/anime-ish references, let me know! [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] History/Story: Lilium is of a race called the "Children of the Moon". They were essentially a race of elves given to Middle Earth as a 'gift', being descendants of the Moon Deity. Their most unique features that make them stand out is their pale, almost marble-like skin tone, and a scent that is really unexplainable, but most people call it a floral and moon-like scent. Lilium, being a Child of the Moon, has some unique features: - Her blood has healing properties, and she can use it to heal wounds. - She has her own language, the language of the Children of the Moon, called "Selene's Whisper". It is, at the present, essentially a dead language, though it is a form of Elvish. - She can sing certain tunes to make enemies drowsy, but it drains her energy quickly, so she rarely uses it. - The most important one: Children of the Moon are not effected by the One Ring's influence. Example of how Selene's Whisper sounds : [ 1 ] | [ 2 ] (Basically the Chaos Languages used in Nier: Automata, if you've played it xD) Lilium came from the very ancient country called Ithilmar. It's probably an island (though I don't know the world well enough to give it an exact location lol) Some unique things about Ithilmar: - Buildings were crafted from moonstone. It makes them all silvery and glowy even when its dark. I imagine some parts kinda looked like this and this - Some form of Lunar Trees, they had glowing silver-blue leaves that pulsed like starlight. - Moonblossoms, flowers that only bloom under the full moon , they have a strong fragrance that soothe the soul - They had a lot of areas that looked kinda like this!! <-- those could also be moonblossoms - The rivers were lined with reeds that were luminous and whispered when touched by the wind - There something called "the Evernight Veil", a natural phenomenon that made the nights last longer, allowing Ithilmar to bask in extended moonlight. - During the day, a soft silver mist often lingered, diffusing sunlight into a gentle glow - "The Silver Lake", Ithilmir maybe lol, was so pure and reflective that it mirrored the sky perfectly, creating an illusion of walking among the stars when one stood at its edge. It was believed that touching the waters could reveal glimpses of fate, making it a sacred site--- (maybe Lilium even some how glimpsed her fate..) - Natural rock formations and crystalline spires caught the winds, producing beautiful melodies that filled the air - Hidden star paths existed, glowing faintly and guiding travelers even in the darkest hours. - There was no "ruler", the children of the moon just followed orders from the moon deity I guess (who I decided to just name 'Ithil' for now, which means moon apparently). But I like to think that the moon children and their fate was all written in the stars already, cruel and sad, but it was kind of known. So Lilium being the last to survive was MEANT to happen and be. The children of the moon and Ithilmar were given as a blessed gift to Middle Earth, but they were ultimately destroyed by Sauron, and that was written in the stars as well, maybe the moon deity didn't intend to give this gift to middle earth forever, so the deity allowed this all to happen, and Lilium, the last of her kind, was always essentially supposed to be the last, the "ruler", maybe she is the chosen moon royalty herself, and she was always meant to find Thranduil, and maybe together they bring her history and stuff back together, like they speak her old language together, and they make sure her history is taught better, etc. haha [this is an idea of a sort of 'fated lovers' story, but if you dont like that kind of thing, its okay!] - This also kinda leads thoughts to... maybe the moon deity is kinda cruel? like an all-powerful deity [I guess a valar? I read that there was a valar of the sea somewhere so maybe we can make one of the moon too lol but again I don't know much and if it's not possible its okay] that does whatever they want, even going so far to "bless" middle earth with the gift of the moon children, only to know and be full aware that one day the country and people would all be killed save for Lilium. perhaps the massacre was even a punishment to middle earth, and that was why the moon deity even went through with it. to give and then take, but the deity still wanted the actual moon princess/moon incarnate/something special to live, that being Lilium, so she really was the most special even amongst her people haha if that makes sense Ithilmar ended up being completely destroyed by Sauron, because he knew that the Children of the Moon could potentially one day get the ring and destroy it. He killed everyone, and Ithilmar was essentially wiped off the map completely. There are stories of the Children of the Moon in books, but at the present, most people only think them to be myth or legend. Lilium spent most of her time on the run, afraid of Sauron and the orcs who all want to kill her, the last of the Moon Children... [I actually think maybe she hung out with the ents for a very long time, basically in hiding] but then she ends up in the Lonely Mountain, where Smaug keeps her trapped as part of his "treasure". And then finally, one day, Smaug will be killed, and Lilium will have her chance at freedom. ----- Some Notes: - I have a couple of kinks I would be happy to discuss in messages! However, I will never want rape/non-con/dub-con for my side of the story. I don't want my love interest to be that way, that's just my preference. I prefer romance, and I prefer the love interest actually caring for my OC. THAT BEING SAID, I DO NOT MIND PLAYING THESE THINGS FOR YOUR SIDE OF THE STORY, IF THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE INTO. I just don't want it for my side, please! I just personally prefer when my love interest actually cares for my OC. I want some sweet moments, I want care, and yes it could be rough, but with consent. I like it when love interest only has eyes for my OC. That's just the type of story I'm looking for. I am a hopeless romantic and I just genuinely enjoy it so.. if you'd allow this and indulge in my requests, I will happily do whatever it is you want for your side of the story. - Taking the above point in mind, no, I do not have any limits. If there's something 'different' you're into, I'll write it for you. As long as you play who I want in the aforementioned manner, I'll do my best to give you what you want for your side! I very much appreciate people trying to let me indulge in my fantasies and written romances, so I will definitely do my best and put a lot of effort into doing what you'd like. - One thing that kinda upsets me when doubling up is if you put a *lot* more effort into your side than mine. Like I mentioned above, I always put more effort and try to write more for my partner's story than my own. I'm not asking you to do the same, but at the very least, try to make them equal-ish, you know? If you put no effort into my side then I will get bored and most likely just not respond. I RP to indulge in fantasies and things I want, so I don't really find any enjoyment if there is no effort... That being said, I also find it kind of boring if you only describe what is going on in the scene with none of the characters internal thoughts. If I wanted to read just what was going on, I could do it myself in a story. I want to read some juicy internal thoughts! That is the good stuff! I may seem a little picky with this, but I do put a lot of effort into trying to help you enjoy your side of the story, making sure to try to add everything you like and adding a lot of nice details for you, so, please, try to give a little of the same! If I do not find my side interesting, or if I find it has no effort, I will genuinely get bored and most likely just give up because I don't want to give the RP my all when I am getting nothing in return. - Everyone will be aged up when necessary. So if we RP Avatar, everyone will be 18+ years old. THE FANDOM I'M CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR: LORD OF THE RINGS/ THE HOBBIT: I just finished watching these movies for the very first time! I have not read the books. I think I am still pretty noob-ish in this area, but I'd really love to try an RP in this universe! But please keep in mind, I have only seen the movies once so far, and for the first time, so if you can help me along the way if needed, that would be wonderful! Of course, I will do my own research when needed as well! I am willing to play anyone for you, but all I ask is if you can play King Thranduil for me because I am currently hard simping over that man haha. Please message me if you're interested! FANDOMS I KNOW: (I'm adding in a list of Fandoms I'm well aware of, in case you'd like to RP something different for your side of the RP! For example, if you're willing to play Thranduil for me for my side of the RP, I can RP any of the following for your side!) If you want to ask about something not on this list, feel free to do so. I can also play regular people for you, or maybe you have an image of someone you'd want me to play for you... whatever you like! Seriously, if you have something you're itching to do, I will write it out for you, so long as you double up and also give me a story I'd enjoy. - Harry Potter -Fire Emblem Fates - Avatar The Last Airbender -Hazbin Hotel - League of Legends - Professor Layton - Game of Thrones - Fire Emblem Awakening - Rune Factory Series (2, 3, 4, Frontier, 5) - Arcane (All seasons) - Owari no Seraph/Seraph of the End - Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic - Erased - Black Butler - Attack on Titan (Haven't been up to date, but willing to research if you want someone from here I don't know.) - My Hero Academy (Haven't seen the last season) - BASICALLY MOST ANIME ON THIS WATCHED LIST : HERE -IF you want to do an original RP, or if you are interested in a plot you came up with, we can play this out for your side as well! Just come let me know what you're itching to try! A normal writing sample:
The streets of Hell had never been quiet, but after the events of the past year, they seemed a little less chaotic - at least in this part of town. Charlie Morningstar strolled through the twisting, cracked streets of Pentagram City, her heels clicking against the uneven cobblestone. The air hung heavy with sulfur and smoke, tinged with the faint metallic tang of spilled blood. Neon signs flickered in and out of existence above grimy buildings, their gaudy colors casting eerie reflections on the slick pavement. A cacophony of distant screams, gunshots, and maniacal laughter wove together into a dissonant symphony that was as much a part of Hell as its scorching heat. Still, Charlie smiled, undeterred by the bleak surroundings. Her golden hair glowed faintly even under the harsh, artificial lights, a stark contrast to the eternal gloom around her. The rebuilt Hazbin Hotel now stood tall in the distance, its once-crumbling facade restored to its former glory - no, better. It was a symbol of hope, however faint, in a place that had none. And Charlie, as always, was determined to find anyone willing to take a chance on that hope. "Just one," she murmured to herself, her crimson eyes scanning the streets. "There has to be someone." She'd taken to wandering the city more often these days, looking for anyone who might be willing to give redemption a try. Not everyone was open to the idea, of course. Most demons laughed in her face, some hurled insults or worse, and many simply ignored her. But every now and then, she'd meet someone - a lost soul clinging to the faintest shred of humanity or a demon tired of the endless cycle of sin and suffering. Those moments made all the rejection worth it. As she turned down a shadowy alley, the smell of desperation hit her like a brick wall. This part of the city was darker, quieter - though not in a peaceful way. The shadows seemed to shift and writhe of their own accord, and the flickering light of a single, malfunctioning streetlamp barely pierced the gloom. It was here that she heard the voices. "Hand it over, now, or we'll make you wish you'd stayed in the living world." Charlie froze, her eyes narrowing as she pinpointed the source of the commotion. Two demons - typical lower-rank types with distorted features and oily black skin - were cornering a man against a crumbling wall. The victim stood out immediately. While most souls in Hell bore obvious signs of their infernal transformation, this one looked… different. He was tall and slim, with messy dark hair that fell into his eyes. His features were sharp, almost painfully human, and his eyes - a striking shade of blue, clear and piercing- seemed to glow faintly in the dim light. He clutched a worn leather satchel to his chest as the demons closed in, sneering and leering with razor-sharp teeth. "Come on, pretty boy," one of them hissed, its clawed hand darting out to grab the satchel. The man flinched but held firm, his jaw tightening as he tried to back away. Charlie's blood boiled. Without a second thought, she darted forward, her heels clicking loudly on the pavement as she closed the distance. "Hey!" she shouted, her voice echoing through the alley like a clap of thunder. The demons turned, their eyes narrowing at the sight of her. For a moment, they seemed to hesitate, recognizing the princess of Hell. But then, as if emboldened by their numbers, they sneered. "Look who it is," the larger of the two growled, its voice dripping with mockery. "The little princess herself. What, you gonna sing us to death?" Charlie planted her hands on her hips, her crimson eyes blazing with fury. "Let him go," she demanded, her voice firm. "Now." The smaller demon snickered, its forked tongue flicking out. "Or what? You gonna run crying to Daddy?" That struck a nerve, but Charlie didn't let it show. Instead, she stepped closer, her posture radiating confidence. "Or I'll make you regret it," she said evenly. The larger demon scoffed, baring its jagged teeth. "Big talk for someone unarmed." Charlie smirked, tilting her head slightly. "You really want to test me?" The air around her seemed to shimmer for a moment, a faint golden glow emanating from her as her innate power flickered to life. The demons exchanged nervous glances. They knew better than to underestimate her, even if they didn't want to admit it. With a low growl, the larger demon spat on the ground. "This ain't worth it," it muttered, turning to leave. The smaller one lingered for a moment, glaring at Charlie, before reluctantly following its companion. "You're lucky, human," it sneered over its shoulder. "Next time, you won't have your little princess to save you." Charlie waited until they were out of sight before letting out a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding. Turning to the man, she softened her expression, her smile warm and genuine. "Are you okay?" she asked, stepping closer. Charlie studied him for a moment, her curiosity piqued. There was something… unusual about him. Most souls that ended up in Hell didn't look this human, not for long. And his eyes - those beautiful, haunting eyes - seemed to hold a depth she couldn't quite place. "You shouldn't be wandering around here alone," she said gently. "It's dangerous." Charlie tilted her head, her smile never faltering. "What's your name? I'm Charlie. And… if you don't mind me saying, you don't seem like you belong here. But.. but I can help! We can help, that is. Me and the others at the Hazbin Hotel! Come on, follow me and we can figure it out, okay?" As they left the alley, Charlie couldn't help but glance at the man again, wondering what had brought him to this place. -- Lilium hummed softly to herself, the tune light and whimsical, as she twirled a strand of her long, silvery hair around her finger. Her heels clicked rhythmically against the cracked streets of Hell, a sound that seemed to echo in the eerie silence of the dimly lit alleys. Things had changed drastically since Adam's fall. The chaos had shifted into something more... unrestrained, and for Lilium, it was utterly intoxicating. Life in Hell had always been a carnival of torment and absurdity, but now, it was as though the demons felt invincible. Their victory over Heaven had made them reckless, their caution abandoned in the wake of their triumph. For Lilium, this was nothing short of a gift. Blood was easier to find, easier to drain. Easier to savor. She licked her lips at the thought, a smirk curling her red-painted mouth. The intoxicating rush of power she felt coursing through her veins after each feeding was unparalleled. It was as though she could crush the entire underworld beneath her heel if she desired. As she strolled along, a piercing scream shattered the stillness. Lilium's silver eyes flicked in the direction of the sound, her lips parting in a delighted gasp. "Oh, how delightful," she murmured, her steps quickening. Turning a corner, she found the source of the commotion. A woman cowered against the side of a crumbling building, tears streaking her soot-stained face as a towering, brutish demon loomed over her. He sneered, his jagged teeth glinting in the faint glow of the streetlamps. Lilium tilted her head, observing the scene with detached amusement. It wasn't an uncommon sight- Hell wasn't exactly known for chivalry. But something about the way the demon towered over the woman, his cruel laughter echoing in the air, made her chest tighten. A flicker of something old, something human, stirred within her. "How unfortunate for you," Lilium said, her voice dripping with mock sympathy as she stepped forward. The demon turned, his eyes narrowing at the sight of her. At first, he looked annoyed, but that expression quickly melted into fear. The corners of Lilium's mouth quirked up into a sweet, saccharine smile, but her gaze was anything but kind. "Now, now," she cooed, her tone almost playful, "there's no need for such hostility. But..." Her smile widened, revealing a glint of fang. "I'm feeling rather parched." Before the demon could react, Lilium was on him, her movements a blur. Her fangs sank into his neck, and his scream was cut short. His blood was bitter, tainted with cruelty and despair, but she drank deeply nonetheless. The woman fled, her frantic footsteps fading into the distance, but Lilium barely noticed. When she was finished, she let the lifeless body crumple to the ground, wiping her mouth delicately with the back of her hand. "Weak," she muttered with disdain, stepping over the corpse as though it were little more than trash. The night air felt cooler as she made her way back to the Hazbin Hotel, her appetite sated for the moment. Inside, the hotel was its usual chaotic self, the mismatched décor somehow managing to be both gaudy and charming. Lilium lounged elegantly on one of the plush couches, crossing her legs as she leaned back. She wasn't one for idle chatter, but her attention snapped to the door when a familiar figure entered. The Radio Demon himself, Alastor, strode in, his ever-present grin as unnerving as it was captivating. Lilium's lips curved into a smile that matched his in sweetness, though hers was far more genuine. "Alastor~," she sang, her voice dripping with honeyed delight. "What a pleasure. And what are you up to today?" Her tone was casual, but her gaze lingered on him, studying every twitch of his smile, every shift in his stance. Alastor was a puzzle she couldn't help but want to unravel. Dangerous, enigmatic, and oh, so intriguing.
Above is a writing sample from an RP I started recently. I can write around 1000 words per side pretty easily, but usually I will write more for you and less for my OC. I can also easily adjust this number to make us both comfortable, so don't worry about trying to match me. 500 words per side is also fine! Or a bit less, but usually my minimum is like 400-500 words. I think that's everything. If you find any of this interesting, let me know. NOTE: No, I don't RP on Discord. If you wanna chat out of RP I may give you my Discord, but I will not RP on it. Another Note: I really prefer when my partners do more than just describe what is happening. I love small details like what one is thinking, emotions, just thoughts in general, in addition to describing what is going on. That's just my preference, and I try to do it too.
