Evelyn Marrion

Location Marrion House
Evelyn stirred from the comfort of her soft pillow and snug blankets. The crisp morning air caressed her cheeks and bare skin as she slowly and reluctantly sat up in bed. Bringing her slim porcelain-toned hand to her face, she runs her fingers through her frazzled red hair. After a few moments of debating whether or not to go back to sleep. After running her fingers through the knots in her red hair, Evelyn dragged herself slowly out of bed. Placing her feet on the floor, the touch of the cold wooden floor made her cringe a heartbeat. A small shiver escaped her body, as she stood. Adjusting her nightgown so it was more wearable as she walked to her bathing chamber. Minutes passed Evelyn came back to her bed chambers, steam rippling off her clean skin. Striding over to another door, with a wave of her power, a dark tendril slithered across the floor; climbing the wooden door, she turned the handle, opening it as she approached. Once inside the small room, Evelyn gazed at the contents of the room. "Now, what do I wear?" A small gleeful smile crept on the lips. She took a deep breath, and the smell of lavender hit her. Clothes, upon clothes, were all over this room. When she first bought the house, the downstairs was for her workstations and her shop, and the upstairs was her living accommodations. The two bedrooms were conjoined, Evelyn took the bigger one for her bedroom, the latter she converted into a wardrobe. The room had at least three armoires just dedicated to dresses, cloaks tunics, riding leathers and gods knew what else. On the far side of the room was a set of full-body mirrors, allowing her to see herself from various angles. The jewellery that she also stored in this room included necklaces, rings, and brooches. The wealth in the room that went into this room was enough to make a small noble household green with envy. Evelyn worked hard crafting her talent, and in the majority of the clothing that was held in this room, she made herself undergarments as well. More time passed as she finally picked something to wear for the day. A black dress that went in layers down to the floor, and under it was a simple white tunic with sleeves that ended just past her elbow. A silver chain hung from her neck with a pendant that had a small ornament of a ruby that was a close match to her hair and was tied in a braid that trailed down her back. Evelyn eventually made her way downstairs to her workplace for her family, only this time, she was all that was there. It had been months since she departed from her family's warm embrace and safety. She cocked her head slightly as if that day she left felt almost a year ago rather than months. Leaving her mother and father to embark on this opportunity that her parents passed to her. At first, she thought they were wrong in their decision, but they both reassured her. With a shake of her head trying to hold back the emotions that were starting to build, she took a deep breath. "I need to start my day." she said striding over to one of her workstations, picking up the sheets of parchment. "Done." she mumbled going through the sheet in her hands. "Done." "Done." "Need more lace for this." She'll inform the people about their completed requests. Most people, when she hands the dresses over, assume that Evelyn herself isn't the one who makes the garments; instead, she is the apprentice following instructions. She never bothered correcting them. "First thing to do head the temple of Lunaris, to pay my respects. Then the market see if my orders of fabrics have come, or at least some of it." With that, she tied up her boots that go halfway up her shins, throwing her cloak on; the warm rabbit fur that she used on the inside of the hood part brushed her cheeks. With a gentle breath, they opened the main door to the snowy moonlit streets of Dawnhaven.
