Kale was not expecting a welcome to the temple as he heard the softness of the priestess's voice behind him. He turned around to face the source of the voice and saw, based on her clothes, that she was the high priestess of this temple he was told about. "Hello, there, high priestess," Kale seemed a bit nervous in the tone of his words. 

"I was not expecting to see and talk with you today, and I hope you are doing well." His attempt at small talk and despite being partially raised by nobles. He still has some stuff to work on with dealing with important people. "Or should I say, your grace?" Hoping that his first impression with her had not been soured a bit. The last thing he wants is to slight the high priestess on his first day.      

He wondered if she had been told about his arrival and how the temple would be guarded today. Kale has to admit it was unorthodox for the temple to be guarded, but his superior made it clear that today, he would be sent to ensure that nothing bad happened at the temple. So Kale guessed there was a good reason for it and complied. Though he still thought what that reason was.

"You were told about my arrival, right?" Kale wanting to see if his presence was indeed known or not to her.
