There's a mission about to be launched toward acquiring a potential specimen. There is also tests about to be performed on a specimen in the research department. You can change shift with an npc guard at one of those locations. Or you can simply post an intro in the armory or in the security personnel barracks, just waking up since it's morning and I'll pick you up in the story.
