Shiro Nagakura The sudden blast took Shiro for a loop. He did not see something like this coming from a quite and tranquil forest. Without hesitating, he jumped to the left, dodging the explosion's debris. A cloud of smoke seemed to have blocked his sight from his Sensei. Even with his eagle eyes, he could not see around things, it wasn't the Byakugan. All it was, is that he can have a wider set vision. His peripherals catch more than the average ninja, allowing him an upper hand during close encounters. It's basically a different perspective of his vision. But anyhow, at the moment, his vision didn't help him. Somehow, Emiya Sensei must have been caught by the blast and sent flying somewhere. The question was, who set up the trap? He turned to his teammate, hoping she had also made it unharmed. It seemed that the explosion had been targeting them as a group, it obviously failed. There was no way their Sensei would have died from such a weak trap. It failed to take out the entire team, but it did separate their strongest player, which could have been the plan all along. "Stay on your toes, someone's out there, I can feel it" Shiro announced over the overwhelming silence. He removed the two trench knifes from the sheaths attached to his belt and prepared for the worse. He would not die here, he still hadn't met the Amegakure Kage. Closing his eyes, he focused on letting out a little chakra to encase his blades. With a little hesitation at first, Shiro managed to form what seemed to be a barrier, around his trench knifes. This would give his knifes a boost in cutting power, along with range and defense. They were chakra blades for a reason. He looked at his partner once again to make sure she was ready and not frightened by the sudden encounter with a trap. Even though he had already spoken to her, he forgot to make sure she wasn't in shock or anything. Since she seemed very close to their Sensei, she might run off in attempt to find him, rather than stick with him and ensure their own survival.
