Okay, I see what you're saying there, and, um... For one thing, the UMMA is more focused on protection and stuff, it's not as much of a government and therefore isn't in charge of... actually governing. They let dimensions handle there own government-wise problems and therefore a lot of the issues the Council in Mass Effect faced aren't issues for them. They're there to protect people and make sure things are safe. This does involve some UMMA transport and stuff, but yeah. They intervene to protect people and eliminate dangerous threats. ... And all the heroic characters kind of leave Cerberus in the second game if you're a nice guy, so, um. ... Also not everyone here knows Mass Effect so they won't all get that comparison. Again, some parts of the of the UMMA could be more grey. Not all of them, and the majority of the UMMA probably would not like them much if they found out.
