...I have a thing for tragic villains, I guess. ^^; • Name: Sayuri Hououji/Warrior God Gaim • Age: 19 • Gender: Female • Appearance: •• Untransformed: Only with her Musou Saber instead of the katana. •• Warrior God Gaim (Blood Orange Arms): THE PATH OF SHADOWS! TO THE STAGE! • Canon, AU, or OC?: OC • Universe of Origin: Original, I guess, with elements of Kamen Rider Gaim. • Personality: Sayuri is driven by one overwhelming obsession, the need to grow stronger. Whilst initially she did so in order to ensure that no-one had to share the same fate that had befallen her, she soon found herself lost in the pursuit of strength, intoxicated by victory and power. Whilst she is usually calm and stoic, in battle she becomes over-excited and hotblooded, all the while retaining her aura of dignity and power. Despite being on the villainous side, she follows her own code of honour, and refuses to fight weak opponents. In addition, even against a strong opponent she refuses to use her full power against them unless she deems them worthy. Sayuri cares not for those who would oppress the weak, and has a habit of butting heads with even those on her own side who would do so. She does not care much for the UMMA, her grief leading her to falsely claim that they let her world be devoured, and she especially hates the Inves creatures who caused it. • Abilities/Weapons: •• Musou Saber: Sayuri's standard sidearm, a katana with a pistol built into the handle. By locking the Lockseed of her currently equipped arms onto it, she can perform devastating finishing moves. Unlike most Gaim Riders, Sayuri can use the Musou Saber whilst untransformed, although she is unable to use finishing moves unless transformed. •• Sengoku Driver: Sayuri's transformation belt. By inserting a Lockseed into it and using the attached knife to "slice" them open, she transforms into Warrior God Gaim. As this is not one of the mass production Drivers, it is synchronized to her and her alone, and only Sayuri can make use of it. •• Lockseeds: The other half of Sayuri's transformation device, a set of magical fruit locks from another dimension which determine which form (or "Arms") she takes. Currently, she has in her possession the Blood Orange, Pineapple and Watermelon Lockseeds, although she will only ever use the gargantuan Watermelon Arms against someone she deems as a worthy adversary. •• Dandeliner Lockvehicle: A Lockseed that, rather than giving Sayuri another form, grows in size and transform into a hoverbike for her to ride. Once the bike reaches a certain speed, it is able to open zipper-like interdimensional portals, allowing her to travel the multiverse with ease. • Backstory:
Originally, Sayuri knew nothing of the multiverse. To her, the only universe that existed was her homeworld, a place not unlike feudal-era Japan from our own Earth. She was being trained to become a samurai to serve her feudal lord when it happened. One day, inexplicably, a strange belt found its way into her world, alongside some bizarre locks based around fruits. Being the first to come across it, the belt synchronized itself to Sayuri, ensuring that no-one else could wear it or use its power. With the power it granted her, she easily became the strongest samurai in the land, a warrior so peerless that she became reknowned as the "Bujin", or "Warrior God". Her story would end in glory and victory were it not for the fact that the belt and the locks were not the only thing to mysteriously appear in her world that day. It took a while for anyone to really notice, but tales of strange creatures suddenly appearing began to spread throughout the land, monsters that Sayuri would later find out were known as "Inves" throughout the multiverse. And wherever these monsters appeared, strange, otherwordly plants began to grow, killing off the native flora and replacing them with bizarrely coloured flowers and trees upon which grew lurid, irresistable fruit. It was soon discovered that eating these fruits transformed any creature that ingested them into one of these monsters, these Inves, but by the time it was found out it was already too late. As an interdimensional invasive species, the Inves quickly overtook Sayuri's world, and no matter how hard she fought against them their numbers just seemed to increase and increase until her entire world was assimilated. The worst part was that she seemed to be the only one immune to the irresistable lure of the forbidden fruit, her belt protecting her from their temptation somehow, leading to her having to kill her own family after they were turned into Inves. It was only after this event that something finally showed up to put an end to the horror that had ravaged her world. For soon after she had put her own family to the blade, several agents of UMMA appeared to scour the world of the Inves before they could spread to yet more worlds. It was at this point that Sayuri learned that her world was not the only one, and that UMMA had known about the Inves and how they assimilated entire worlds. They claimed that the infestation has spread far too quickly for them to notice it until it was too late, but she would not hear them out. Unable to cope with the fact that she wasn't able to save her world, Sayuri cursed her own weakness and accused the UMMA of letting her world die. Setting off into the wide multiverse, she intended to become strong enough to personally ensure something like this never happened again.... But somewhere along the road, she lost herself in battle. The last time she was seen, she had joined the villainous force known as Shadow Eternity, and seemed to live only to fight strong opponents. Maybe some day she will rediscover her path, but for now she is nothing more than a warrior desperately seeking the next battle.
• Faction: Shadow Eternity
