UMMA Vessel Tanngrisnir Kilphy Nekomata - also known as the young, magic-using leader of the Mecha-Magic Peacekeeping Force, Nelke Neko - always took her duties as an Agent of UMMA seriously, whether she was in uniform fighting interdimensional criminals, working as a temporary maid to help clean one of the ships, taking in calls and routing assignments as a receptionist, or even helping out in the kitchen as a cookie baker. Kilphy was a Jill-of-all-trades, and she loved to work. If she wasn't doing something, she would probably go stir crazy. She also had to remember not to work too hard. Kilphy had joined UMMA recently, but had to leave her four teammates behind in their home universe so that they could keep the peace in her absence. Kilphy had elected the MMPF's oldest and most experienced member (that being Lahn Louve, a 2000-year old werewolf demon who had been fighting crime way before any of the others were born) to act as the MMPF's interim leader until UMMA determined that Kilphy could be relieved of her station. One of the first things that Lahn told Kilphy was not to overwork, and to keep in touch. If she needed their help, they would come. If they needed her, she would head back to her home world, take care of business, then return to her Agent duties. The main reason Kilphy wanted to remain as an Agent, despite being separated from her friends, was to keep the team's greatest rival Sheol in check. Without going into too much detail at this point, Sheol and the MMPF had gotten into a large-scale magic battle, which accidentally created a black hole that sucked everyone into the multiverse. Sheol wanted to take over entire planets in their original world, but now that he knew that different universes existed, he opted to take the next step and become a multi-universal conqueror. Kilphy certainly wasn't going to let that happen, hence her membership into UMMA - she promised to keep Sheol's activities at bay, but she didn't want to stoop low enough to kill him. It was a conundrum, but Kilphy wanted to try and reason with Sheol about how it would be a mistake to try and conquer the multiverse. However, none of that crossed Kilphy's mind at the moment. Sheol was quiet for now, and Lahn told her last night that all was well in their world. Peaceful times were always the best times for her; she could devote her skills to doing menial tasks with all her fortitude instead of worrying about when the next planet was going to blow up. She believed that when the little things were taken care of, the bigger things would just fall into place. Case in point, Kilphy was on her way to the next washroom fully equipped with rubber gloves and apron to scrub the next set of stalls down.
