Magnus simply waited on him, he heard the chaos in the distance. His main focus was destroying Johnathan, if a thousand vampires need die for this, so be it. He sat on one of the tree stumps legs crossed awaiting Johnathan's arrival. A few of the vampires manged to find their way around the smke machines, several infact. Eventually it caught on that hey, we ain't gotta kill ourselves on the smoke! A hundred maybe two hundred made it through before the SOLDIER T.R team arrived and barricaded their only escape route with heavy gunfire.

Matt had managed to duck away into a alleyway at the beginning of the fight to re-orientate himself. Removing the chakram from his back he dashed out of the alley, slaying vampire after vampire. Eventually he got surrounded, he tossed the chakram into the air and drew his magnum's. He shot the vampires advancing from the front and to his left. He took a quick side step to his left as the chakram fell and sliced the vampire that was where he was once standing in half. Holstering his magnum's he snatched up the chakram. He was quickly getting surrounded, he could only hold out for so long, and vampires were advancing from all directions. Suddenly the vampires fell in a almost linear fashion allowing him to reach Amara. He ran over to her and said with a grin "Who said you could start the fun without me?"

Lightning was in the sniper post, picking off vampires with the ease of cover. She noticed Matt getting surrounded, as well as everyone else. Damn..she cursed under her breath. She reloaded her clip and proceeded to unload said clip into the skulls of the vampire's surrounding Matt allowing him a clear path to regroup with Amara.
