Ever play Final Fantasy Legends 2? Well, you can get robots and mutants and cyborgs join your group in that. Basically this is Final Fantasy less-angsty edition. Also without all the serious plot stuff for awhile. Other sci-fi elements would include flying cars and such but those aren't important. If you want to be a cyborg mutant zombie, you could be.
