Time, in this case, is really weird and convoluted.

It all depends on how time flows in whatever roleplay setting you're in, which in turn depends on how time flows in that particular RP (in other words, how fast it's moving). But since [i]most[/i] roleplays take quite a few IRL days to make it through a single RP day, it's a pretty safe bet that time flows faster in the real world.

Though I should mention that time still doesn't flow consistently even in a single RP setting, as the speed of the RP can fluctuate, not to mention time skips exist... 

And as for the void spots? Who's to say. Practically anything goes.
