Ha, I completely forgot about you mentioning that in the OP. And it fits to an extent. And as for the name, I just went to Google Translate, picked a random language and adapted the translation for 'thorn people'. And the one I ended up going with was Igbo, so it is African (ogwu ndị, in case you were curious as to what the actual translation was).

*shakes your hand back* It's a pleasure to be onboard. Though I do still have to add Ashborn's weight; doing a google search for the weight of a 2 foot tall plant only gets me a bunch of results about the weight of the yield of a 2 foot tall marijuana plant. :/ So I'm not sure what his weight would be. 

Also, not to be nitpicky, but you misspelled my username on the character roster.
