Maeve What does one do when faced with roughly four Alchemists heading towards one of the Demon Twins at high speeds and attacking, with a large group of other Alchemists, in the center of a desert, all trying to win a game where the only rule is that you don't kill anyone? Drop directly into the middle of it of course. Maeve slapped a wing to the sigil on her chest, and then folded her wings and fell at a dive towards the group. She could have conceivably stopped and grabbed the beacon in the process, but where would the fun have been in that? So, if any of the Asylum's had bothered to look up and away from the very dangerous and certainly lethal Reri in front of them, they would have seen a Peregrine Falcon dive bombing towards the Demon Twin, shifting into a tattooed Celtic woman(with all of her usual clothes on) who seemed to be grinning madly. Or, just plain grinning if all things are truly considered. The reason Maeve was late to the fun was that she may have been concentrating on the Beacon, and missed the building that her wing crashed into. Of course, with a broken wing, the world's fastest bird couldn't fly, and fell in a downward spiral of shrieks that sounded suspiciously like curses. When Maeve had finally landed(Hard) on the ground, she had to switch back to her human form to fix her broken arm. Apparently, Vocem didn't recognize bird calls as a word. When the entire procedure was finished, she had lost valuable time. Maeve didn't like being late to the fun. 15 or so feet above the ground, Maeve said 'Stop!', holding her hands out. A powerful gust of wind slowed her descent immensely, scattering sand and other loose items on the ground around Reri. Landing with a small thump behind the Twin, she glanced around at all the Alchemists coming towards her and Reri. She tsked, muttering something indiscernible. Her choker necklace gem started glowing a soft green. Then, with her Bean Sidhe Collar activated, she screamed in the direction of Reri in front of her and the Broken Pendulum coming at them.
