I'm think of putting a United Nations Peace Keeping Force-like space fleet to intervene on any trouble that may happen on this sector of the universe.
Seeing as this place is the center of the most important substance known to mankind, the rest of humanity elsewhere would want to make sure everything goes smoothly here.
Also, this would be a Humanity civilization-based rp so no intelligent alien lifeforms.
