The blonde was surprised when the fire had been unleashed. That was not at all something he had expected, though it made for a fine show. It seemed that the fire was tailored only to melt the snow and ice previously created, based on the result; although the fire had reached out into the crowd, nobody appeared to be hurt or screaming about having sustained any large burns. Now why would someone do that? The performer had disappeared after unleashing the fire which had undoubtedly shocked the audience to distraction, so perhaps it had merely been her way of ending the show? It made sense, but it seemed a little empty as an answer, somehow. Unable to come up with any other explanation, unfortunately, he shrugged and began to leave the square... ...Only to remember; hadn't he wanted to ask her something? Oh, goodness! How could I forget?! His research! He had the perfect opportunity, and he needed her to share whatever information she had with him! Especially about that fire - that was fascinating! Quickly turning upon remembering his task, he ran over to where the performance had happened previously. The ice seemed to be completely gone, but so was the performer. Like a good disappearing magician, she had run off quickly before anyone could see her, making it look as if she actually had vanished. This was good from a performer's perspective, but to a curious half-cat researcher, this was quite a setback. Perhaps she had left behind some sort of clue as to where she had gone? He quickly searched around the area, hoping to pick up anything that could help him.
