Allen rose to his feet the area he was standing in was completely filled with radiation, he could feel it like it was calling out wildly to him, Allen lifted his hands and started trying to control this energy and that's when he found himself pulling the radiation out of the area and into his own body. And just like that the area was radiation free and Allen felt recharged for the next fight. Allen stumbled out of the tube area his body still smoking and smelling of burned glass, there was smoke everywhere and Allen couldn't see but he knew he couldn't be alone in a Vitus ship...there had to be others...he saw others a few moments ago for Christ sake!
