I originally started it as a Adv RP but have changed it to a Casual/Adv for 2 reasons:1) It will hopefully attract more people, having a wider range of acceptable standards for posts.2) Glancing back through the books, I realized that the motif of nearly all of the books follows a variety different lengths of entries from various authors. Some could be over 20-30 pages in length before the next cut of a different POV, some merely 2-3 pages. That's because not all characters in this world are created equal. Some may only get a few posts of story from their characters, and I'm OK with that. Hence why I've given people the option to play as 2 characters. I may also add the option that if a player wishes to "retire" a character after all possible arcs have been followed, then they may write them out and begin a new character (or focus on another if they have 2 for a "probation" period)While I have said it is a "Casual", that's more in relation to quantity, but not quality. Even if only 1-2 paragraphs, I'll be looking at structure and reasoning behind posts. As for your Nat Hero, by all means, but one thing that I'll be looking at in CS posts (not just you, of course) is "does this make sense"? You'd be playing a Nat Hero in a world with superhumans, both good and bad, so it "makes sense" that, no matter how brave/strong/intelligent your character is, he/she is probably going to avoid them as much as possible to avoid getting their arse handed to them. /PSA-rant
All that sounds good, but I might stray away from the nat anyways. I can't seem to think of a good backstory that would want to make an unaffected want to don a mask and become a Superhero. Just a thought. I was thinking maybe in an expirement, a chip was inserted into my character's brain. All it really did was allow him to see in darkness, and have really reflexive eyes. By this I mean, his eyes catch everything. Also, could you give me an example of how a Joker could turn into a hero?
