Well you have to look at jokers as a minority class. They're regarded as freaks, abominations and "diseased" and have a very tight community system as a result, so it's little wonder that jokers with powers beyond their deformities would rise to hero status in the eyes of their fellow jokers. One such example is [url=http://wildcards.wikia.com/wiki/Quasiman] Quasiman [/url]. Also, you have to remember that a "joker" refers to someone with a physical deformity, no matter how that deformity manifests. So a joker could be classed as an ace depending on the manifestation. An example of this is [url=http://wildcards.wikia.com/wiki/Peregrine] Peregrine [/url], who has angelic wings which is technically a joker trait but because it is not "hideous" as other joker traits, she is classed as an ace.
