Roleplaying isn't meant to be pure stupidity that makes absolutely no sense in my honest opinion. :) Sure, you can do things that wouldn't be able to be done in this world, but an RP world still has rules, and laws. O.o It isn't just do whatever the fuck you feel like doing. A weapon is still a weapon. If you want to be like Cloud from FF7, and use two Zweihanders, moving at the extreme speeds as soon as you join, then you are thinking a little to far out of the rules. But if you are a super-soldier built as a war-machine, then it is a bit more understandable. But you need to build into it. My friend Kyo could probably level a continent if he wanted to, but that is because he has roleplayed with the same character for over thirteen years, and is at is absolute limit. He didn't just jump in and do what ever he wanted. My suggestion to you, is starting as a fighter, maybe a fighter/mage mix, based on how you seem to be going, and build up from there. You are trying to do way to much all at once. Build into shit, and maybe even ask Brovo to add a Trait that would be helpful to your endgame style, so once you get there, it will be easier.
It's time for you to calm the fuck down. Aristo was already made aware that characters start off unskilled enough and Legend of Renalta has enough realism built into it that the gunblade thing isn't viable to start with, and he already said he was going to rethink the character, presumably to make something that fits better into the constraints of this RP. The issue was already solved by the GMs giving their feedback on the idea. You bringing it up again, then being a bit of a bitch in the quoted post when Aristo said he already got it and didn't need it repeated, wasn't helpful to anyone. Calm your tits and drop it, no need to continue the pointless back and forth. EDIT:
1. Back off the players. Now. For the most part everyone has just been reinforcing whar THE GMS (plural) have stated and provided suggestions to help you. 2. You've dropped several comments that are outright offensive to not just the players but the creators of this world. You can stop while you're slightly behind here. Don't dig yourself into a deeper hole. 3. Calm down. These are rational discussions. While this is a fantasy world, this is in fact a world that does still follow logic and physics well enough. Its a world already designed, and while we are willing to give wiggle room... You need to work with us, which means working along the same lines every other player has had to.
Wait, really? You're calling bullshit on Aristo for getting defensive over essentially being called an idiot with bad ideas? Well alright then, I guess I'll just fuck off and let you deal with it in you own way. :|
