Nate was wandering from the group when he heard the girl yelling for help. There was no way he was letting anyone get recaptured. 

As he ran back one of the Aliens tried to jump him again. Perhaps it was thinking that the third time was the charm with this. Not the brightest bulb in the shed huh? He let it come at him then ducked right before it attacked. He then decked it right in the head area. He had charged his hand before this and hit it right between the eyes. The thing crumpled into a pile. The shock had been enough to kill it instantly. 

He chased after the wolf letting his charge keep his speed going. No one was being left behind.
