[bMar and Althalus...well..you know. :p. Also a minor timeskip. Continuously, as the two of them made their way unsteadily towards their room, Althalus found his gaze returning to the pretty Naga helping him stand and walk. It wasn't that there was not anything else interesting to look at in the world around them(For example, there was the remarkably blue sky, the shiny windows, and even neat statues.), it was that he found her the most interesting(certainly the most beautiful), thing in the courtyard. For now, however, he was content to gaze at her. The act of entering her, strangely familiar, room proved to be a feat far surpassing their skills at balance. Within two short steps, Althalus lost his balance and began falling forward. Mar's balance wasn't any better, and she fell with him. They rolled and tumbled down the tunnel, Althalus chuckling the whole way down, finally coming to a stop with a thump. Althalus pinned to the ground with Mar ontop of his chest, admiring the way the light source shone off of various things with a smile on his face. Including her. Especially her. "Hahaha..."Mar giggled as dirt went flying from their rough entrance within the burrow like doorway, the sides clearly became wider afterwards. Her tail had wrapped about the pair while her arms were planted on either side of the man's head, her head lowered to touch their foreheads together. She bite her lips, trying to keep the giggles down but failed epically, instead the sounds turned into soft snickers which became outright laughing. It echoed throughout the room's insides and back to her, the Naga's body rolled to where she laid on his arm. Her head rested upon his chest, still tried to cease if only to ease her aching sides. Slowly Mar's breath was gone until she couldnt keep up the mirthful noises anymore. "You're funny..." She commented then looked up to his face. Althalus soon joined Mar in her laughter. It had begun quietly, while her pretty brown eyes were only inches from his own. He didn't try to keep it in, even if he had only a small idea of what exactly was so funny. Laughing for the sake of laughter was good enough for him. For a few moments after they both stopped, nothing could be heard but the sound of heavy breathing as they both tried to regain their breath. His arm was on her shoulders, holding her to him. For laying on the ground after rolling down a small incline, it was strangely comfortable. He glanced down at her comment, smiling. He didn't know how exactly she came about that conclusion, but he didn't care. "And you, are very beautiful. Has anyone ever told you that?" "No... but I like it when you did." She edged closer to his face. Her eyes suddenly sank into his, a small flicker of delight crept over her face as she realized, slowly, that she wanted to kiss him. Why not? She asked herself, unable to find or care for a reason not to. Her hand reached out to cup his jawline while her face pulled up, lip locking him in a full fledge kiss. Her head sudden collapsed into a numbing but plesant experience, one she found herself unable to get enough of. Any air left in her lungs was gone causing her to release the extend spell from the kiss with a surprised look and heavy gasp. Althalus's smile grew wider, more pleased, when she responded. Good. He wanted to make her happy. He was about to say something in response, when she suddenly cupped his jawline and kissed him. His eyes popped wide in minor surprise for about a second, before he returned the kiss, his arm tightening around her to bring her closer, head being filled iwth a strange new feeling. Though, that may have just been the lack oxygen. As the two of them broke apart, he stared at her, a new glint in his eyes. He smiled slightly to see her surprise, before leaning in and whispering "Why stop?" And then he kissed her. After that, both were too...occupied for talking. ~~~~~~ A few hours later. (Late afternoon) Mar was shaking. Her body covered in a cold sweat while the fever raged through out her skin, making it hot to the touch as Althalus would notice. Her arm slung over his naked chest and her tail coiled about his lower half, her head buried within his side would be what woke him. Her tail couldn't even constrict as each time it did, the coils jerked and twitched badly enough to release. White colored her skin and gave it a sickly color from the infection's presence. Althalus became immediately aware of three things when he awoke: he was naked with Mar, she was shaking, and she was burning up. The latter two took precedence in what he reacted to, but the first one was no small amount of surprise either. Or rather, the more he remembered, the more he reminded himself to thank the Esyire later. He untangled himself from the shaking Naga, saying, "Alright, this isn't exactly how I planned to get you to see common sense, but this works. I'm taking you to the healer or Alchemist or whomever. You're in bad shape." With that, he began collecting and throwing on his clothes, leaving the armor and weapons where they were. Speed was more important than protection. Soon he was presentable enough that the only thing people would give them looks for was the sick Naga he was going to be carrying, which meant, he had a pair of pants on. Walking over, he gave a concerned glance at the wound in her arm. It had only gotten worse, far worse. A bright, angry, red it was badly swollen, and leaked a nasty looking fluid. Glancing between Mar and the exit to their room, he sighed. "You could have had a normal door. Then I wouldn't have to drag you.." With that, he slung her uninjured arm over his shoulders and began the lengthy process of dragging a sick Naga up an incline to a healer.
