I am so sorry that I suddenly vanished from you! We had a terrible cold/flu going around our home and we haven't been able to do anything. I am just starting to be able to talk without breaking into a fit of coughing... And since that is essential for dictation, I was unable to do anything. But I am feeling much better now and only have the occasional cough or stuffiness, so I decided I needed to let you know that I was still alive. Ha ha.

But considering that it has been over a week since my last reply, I was also going to check with you if you would still like to continue our story. I am happy to finish up the reply I started before I got sick and get it posted if you are still interested. But I also understand if you have moved on and would rather put the story aside. I just thought I would check with you. :)
