[b]Applicant History:[/b] Nellie suffered from depression throughout her childhood and felt as if life wasn’t worth living. She was on pills and was very stable when she left home. She moved out of the house when she was eighteen to attend college to become a writer, but her depression became worse because of the drastic change in environment and her difficulty in settling down. She dropped out of school, became an alcoholic, and eventually tried to take her life. However, her roommate at the time had found her and brought her to safety. After a couple of months in a mental institution, she was deemed stable enough to be released. While Nellie was no longer as depressed as she was before, she no longer had a school to go back to, no way to bring in income, and she felt as if she couldn’t face her parents…so she decided to donate her body to science.
