Alaira Taenn "Easy..." Alaira said softly as she worked on... something. "...there!" she said as she had finally finished her work. She set her tools on the desk and leaned back, admiring her handiwork. It was a light Spear, about four feet long. It's head was constructed of steel, which she had polished to a near mirror-like finish. On the side of the head (not on the blades of course) was engravings of leaves and vines, the background purposely tarnished a bit to give the leaves more contrast. inset on either side in the middle, were two small emeralds, roughly the size of a dime each. Despite its ornamentation, it was a simple weapon, steel head and end-cap, and a solid oak haft. It was pretty in its own way, but not by any means flashy. This weapon was to be given to Coco as a sort of surprise gift. She had been teaching the girl how to defend herself for the past six months, and till now she hadn't actually had a weapon of her own, just a weighted wooden training spear. Usually, she'd see Tyrael in here about now, but he seemed absent. The poor bastard was probably off getting more demons or whatever, he seemed to be doing that a lot lately, for some reason. He was an odd sort. He was far better than she was at making things but... He didn't seem to care as deeply as she did for the end result. There was no... art in his creations, simply brutal efficiency. Then again, he could crank out a dozen swords quicker than she could make one, and all of them would be better, so maybe he was doing something right. Aside from that he was... creepy. Apparently he was the one responsible for leaving that couch outside her dorm months ago. Damn fine couch it was. Though she was sure it contained as yet unsolved mysteries... In any event, it was time to go find Coco. Or maybe talk to Angel (Upon meeting her roommate, she had given her a nickname. Lyris is not too fond of it) or something. She hadn't really gotten to know the girl, despite living in the same room as her for half a year. She decided offloading the spear was for the best, and scooped it up as she headed out, making sure to untie her hair as well (It's not good to have untied long hair in the forge, as many idiots often found out). She decided to check the gardens first, because where else would a plant be? when she got there, she found a whole mess of plants. She'd probably never find Coco if it weren't for the fact she would answer when called. "Hey, Shrub! Get outta there!" she called.
