Nick had been sitting at the bar for a while, sipping on a craft beer that he thought was overpriced. He hadn't been to many social gatherings like this before, so he just kept to himself. He looked around the room, trying to see what celebrities he could pick out of the crowd. It was a weird experience, there over a dozen people who he could recognize, and many more whose names he couldn't quite recall, yet he hadn't even met anyone here yet. Nick took solace in the fact that very few knew who he was, allowing him to keep the low profile he preferred. He looked at his notebook, and began to write a little bit. "I write about these people from the comfort of my own home, and yet now I am here with them. No longer am I a mere patron of the zoo, looking in from outside. I am like a zookeeper, entering the domain of the animals. I think there is a reason why zookeeper is not a more popular profession." After writing down his thoughts, he looked around and saw who else was sitting at the bar. Two faces stood out to him, both young women, and both of whom produced music which he hated, though each for their own unique reasons. Nick sighed, and wondered why he had bother to come. It had seemed like a good way to get out of the house and meet some of his neighbors, but now he thought it was a big waste of time.
