So I'm hoping this is okay. I brought it up in the interest check and you seemed fine with it, but... We'll see how it turns out. If it doesn't work I'll replace him with someone from Marvel or DC, but for now... Also, I made a few little adjustments to make him fit in better, most notably replacing Shocker with HYDRA and making their cyborg soldiers be an attempt to recreate the supersoldier program that died when Cap was frozen. Again, hope it's okay. ^^; • Name: Takeshi Hongo • Codename: Kamen Rider (AKA Kamen Rider #1) • Quote: "As long as evil still exists in this world, I will fight!" • Age: 25 • Appearance: As Kamen Rider. Without the helmet (I'm using the 00's reboot movie actor for this, since as awesome as his original actor was he looks a little too 70's to fit in.) • Abilities/Skills: Takeshi Hongo is a cyborg, converted against his will by the evil organization HYDRA as part of their plans for world domination. Even out of costume, he is stronger than most men (although still only at the outermost limits of human ability), and is a very capable unarmed fighter. However, this is not the true extent of his power. Attached to his waist is a belt-like turbine device, codenamed "Typhoon", which utilises the power of the wind to fully awaken his cybernetic implants. By either performing a series of synchronized arm movements or by simply receiving a significantly powerful enough blast of air to his front, followed by shouting "Transform!", Hongo's body metamorphosizes into the champion of justice, Kamen Rider! In this form, his strength increases to superhuman levels, his arm strength being roughly comparable to Spider-Man's. However, as he is grasshopper themed it should come as no surprise that his leg strength is even greater, allowing him to leap several meters into the air even from a standing position, and giving him his signature move: the Rider Kick, a flying kick strong enough to take out just about any villain he comes across who isn't superhumanly resilient, and even then it's still going to hurt quite a bit. His own resilience as Kamen Rider is rather notable too, as he is practically immune to small arms fire, and tough enough to take blows from other superstrong opponents without having to worry too much. In addition, his armoured form included several other implants and built-in gadgets. The eyepieces grant him infrared vision which allows him to see in lowlight conditions, and his artificial lungs allow him to recycle oxygen for up to two hours, allowing him to survive incredibly hostile conditions. • Equipment/Vehicles: As his name suggests, Kamen Rider uses a motorcycle to travel, a special custom model known as the Cyclone. It has a maximum speed of 400km/h (apparently), and is resilient enough to be used as a battering ram without suffering any noticable damage. • Weapons: N/A. Kamen Rider will occasionally use the weapons of his enemies if he gets his hands on them, but he mostly relies on his bare fists and, of course, his feet. • Sidekicks/Regular Teammates: Hayato Ichimonji/Kamen Rider #2... Who will probably not show up much, if at all, since he's busy fighting HYDRA in Japan. • Personality: Despite being transformed against his will, it seems like Takeshi Hongo was born to be a hero. He has a strong sense of justice and will not tolerate evildoers, and this coupled with his hotblooded nature and his overdramatic stylings (he insistently refers to HYDRA as "The Army of Hell") whilst operating as Kamen Rider make him seem like a true comic book hero. Despite his boisterous nature, Hongo is actually rather intelligent; before his conversion he was at university studying advanced biochemistry, and he has a flair for mechanics too. Aside from justice, his number one love in life is motorcycles, and if he's not out fighting evil he is most likely fixing up his bike. • Bio: Not too long ago, Takeshi Hongo was simply a rather gifted biochemistry student with a passion for motorcycles. It was during an "accident" whilst riding his bike one day that his life changed forever, for he had been scouted by the Japanese branch of HYDRA as a candidate for their new supersoldier program. Lacking the serum used to create Captain America, they instead performed surgery to transform Hongo into superpowered cyborg, but before they could perform the brainwashing procedure that would ensure his absolute loyalty to HYDRA one of the scientists responsible for the operations... Maybe he'd had a change of heart, or maybe he'd been forced against his will to perform it. No matter what the reason was, he gave his life to ensure that the newly created cyborg could escape and be free of HYDRA's control. Rechristening himself as the masked champion of justice, Kamen Rider, Hongo began a one-man crusade against HYDRA, something helped by the fact they they kept sending assassins and other products of their supersoldier program to bring him back, dead or alive. Eventually, after getting frustrated at the fact that everything they threw at him seemed to meet the same fate (being jumpkicked so hard they exploded), the Japanese branch of HYDRA decided that if this "Kamen Rider" they created was too strong for any of their supersoldiers prototypes to take down then they'd just make another one. And so Hayato Ichimonji, a freelance photographer, was captured and converted just like Hongo before him. Unfortunately for them... Hongo happened to break into the lab where the conversion was taking place, and once again one of HYDRA's cyborg supersoldiers escaped before they could perform the brainwashing treatment. Now that there were two Kamen Riders, Hongo decided that he could trust Hayato to take care of HYDRA's Japanese branch, and decided to head off across the world to take the fight to them on a global scale. Soon enough, Takeshi Hongo, the Kamen Rider, ended up in America, which is where our story picks up...
