A troubadour. A poet. A lover and a liar.

Segundo was the second of his mother's children, although who knows how many more his father, a drunkard and a wife beater, had. As a child, he used his "innocence" as a way to get out of trouble. Hanging around all day with his older brother, who only beat him by 10 months and was named after their father, Segundo learned about the advantages of being able to manipulate other individuals early on. At the age of 6 he managed to convince his brother to steal some bread and cheese for both of them. At the age of 10 he convinced a fisherman about the existence of the Fountain of Youth, and gave him a map in exchange for some gold coins. At the age of 14 he managed to convince a female neighbor to, well, I doubt it's too relevant.

However, good looks and a sharp wit didn't help him when the Comandante caught Segundo trying to pick his pocket. After some time in jail, it was decided that he would be sent to work on a Caribbean island. Hispaniola or something like that. But the ship didn't manage to complete it's journey. It got raided by some pirates and, well, all the survivors became slaves under new masters. Segundo included.
