You're not meant to do that! The proper way to do it is to force yourself- no matter how dry of inspiration you may be at the time- to respond to everything that's happened whilst never actually adding anything new to the RP. It's what I always do...

Eh, I'm of the opinion if you force yourself to write then it becomes nothing more than a chore, and you loose interest in doing it.
