Alari chuckled a little hearing Mera's mumbled comment, he shook his head as a response, Larel didn't realize it and that's one of the things he liked about him. His straightforwardness didn't make him a very good ninja in certain aspects but he enjoyed getting to see Larel speak openly once again, he wouldn't say it out loud but he and Kaori had a habit of speaking without thinking about what they were saying, Larel just saw things differently and had some tact. Alari looked over at Mera smiling a little when she responded to him, he supposed he inadvertently had taken some time off himself, this kind of peace was nice, he couldn't help but smile getting to see a little of it once more. Peaceful moments like this reminded him of his time in the village with Haruka and everyone else, it was a shame things weren't always be like this. With Mera next to him, Larel and Hotaru nearby and everyone else next to him Alari couldn't deny he was happy to be here. Hearing Mera mention never dressing that way again Alari smiled and turned back to the fireworks. "A part of me is relieved but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed," he whispered to her. Larel only pulled his attention away from the fireworks when Hotaru spoke to him, he grinned hearing her and nodded turning his attention back to the fireworks. "Without a doubt," Larel said before grinning. "Anytime Hotaru don't expect me to hold back next time though." He chuckled as it was fun to joke around like this, however his smile faded and he shivered as Mary's voice hit him, he promptly turned forward again finding it easier to stand near her when he didn't have to look at her, though he could still sense her presence causing him to let out an nervous chuckle. Kaori on the other hand was ecstatic to see Mary again and grinned seeing she made it to the fireworks, he went to speak to her but seeing the expression her face he went silent blinking and watching her face for awhile, he however turned his attention to the fireworks and pretended not to see it as he was sure it wasn't something she wanted to share. He was sure Mary had things on her mind as well like everyone else did, he didn't always understand the complex things but he was happy to see everyone smiling. Kaori closed his eyes before looking back at the fireworks his eyes drooping a little as he crossed his arms. He looked over at Mary when she spoke to him and gave a firm nod before pointing at the cracked fish jar in his hand. "I had a great time, Larel even gave me a gift," Kaori said. "I danced with everyone played a few games and even got to paint a few people as well, I had a wonderful time Mary-chan. I hope you had a wonderful time too what did you do?" Larel leaned forward a little as the fireworks grew extremely large before the fireworks came to a stop and Larel pouted a little. He smiled shortly after glad to have the memory now, he let out a relieved sigh but covered his mouth shortly after as his eyes flashed yellow. Larel's whole body shivered and he lowered his hand from his mouth as pain coursed through his body. Alari glanced over at him seeing this and with some hesitation released Mera's hand before walking over to him. "Take a breath Larel," Alari said as he put his finger close to his head and started working the seal. "I've got you." "What's wrong Oji-san," Kaori said looking over at Alari. "I have to bring Zenmaru back," Alari said sighing. "Much as I would love to keep her down the two coexist in the same body, I have to bring her back or it can hurt Larel. It's much sooner than it should have been, she must really have been fighting." "...Alari," Larel said looking up at him. "Hm?" Alari said keeping his attention on his forehead. "Um...t...thank you." Alari's eyes widened hearing Larel's words and he almost lost his focus for a moment but he forced a stoic face and responded to him. "Don't worry about it," Alari said. "No...really...thank you for-" Larel cut himself off as the seal fully reappeared before vanishing once again causing Alari to lower his hand. Reaching up Larel rubbed his head and closed his eyes as his shadow seemed to flare for a moment, a small grin formed on the shadow's face before vanishing as quickly as it came. "Why are you standing so close," Larel said opening his eyes glaring at Alari. "Right," Alari said putting his glasses back on. "That's what I'm used too."
