Thankfully, she was given the okay to be calm and relaxed. Ace stuffed her mouth with another pastry as Harper spoke. "Morm-" She put her index finger up, indicating that he'd hold in. Talking with your mouth full is rude.' Ace reminded herself and finished eating before she responded. Being with the queen was much different than Beijing with her friends- well, she considered them friends. "Good mornin' to ya. I'm pretty good. Hehe, I walked around the castle a few times... Although I don't think I was suppose to. Guards kept escorting me back. I don't think the nurses were too happy either. They kept trying to get me to stay in the room- but it was booooring in there!" Ace didn't hesitate to try the pastries Harper pointed out. Which in hindsight was probably a bad idea on his part... Ace was hyperactive enough. But she never got to experience what a sugar rush was and that moment was probably it. "I've never had any of this stuff before, it looks- no it tastes really good!" There was a slight pause as Ace looked at Harper. With a smile she spoke, "Cheer up will ya? Things coulda took turns for the worst you know, and we could be dead." Ace continued on her taste testing everything. She was having a moment of delight, but promptly stopped in order to greet her other friend- again, if they considered her as a friend- Jasper. "Welcome back to the land of the living Jasper!" The red head laughed and fixed the plain red shirt she had on. "You should try all the food here. It's really good." Even though she didn't see Harper's silent questioning, Ace still picked up on the unhappiness. "You look sad too." The girl had been with those two long enough to catch on to their unhappiness. "Cheer up Jasper! It could be worse. I was just telling Harper the same thing. We'll get through the next task, easy peasy. But we can't do that if you don't have a little optimism." After her little rant, almost as if she never spoke, Ace turned her attention back to the candle near her. Curiously, she used a fork and picked up a random pastry she didn't too much care for, then set it over the fire. "Cool." Ace watched as the food burned slowly. "You know... I wonder where else everyone is."
