"We are going to get in touch with the person who cought the wolf."

Max mentioned as he openned the car and got in. He waited for Boogie to get in before he rushed off, not careing for speed limits, more then usual, he was in a hurry.

"Let's get some things straight. I don't care what happens to the wolf, we need to find out as much as we can about the people that got him, that's all. The call I got earlier was from Mickey. Seems you rubbed him the wrong way recantly. I don't care about the details but you are settling this with him right now. The guys that are heading for your apartment right now, unlike me are not looking for a sandwich. He is the one that is going to help us learn more about Scarlet hand. So here's what's going to happen, we are going to walk in to his place and you are going to keep your mouth shut. After we get what we need from him we will worry about other things. Are we clear?"

Boogie had reluctantly entered Max's car, he knew how the man drove and he didn't fancy dying in a car crash that night. He looked over Max as he gave his quick explanation about the cause of this sudden drive and their destination. It could be seen as clear as Toad's warts that Boogie was not in the slightest bit amused by this. First off Max made it clear that he would let Bigby die, an already big no no in his books, second having a hit put on his life was never a spirit lifter for Boogie and lastly he was told to be quite, one of the few things he could never do. He took out a smoke and lit it. "Okay Boy I'll come with you to deal with this and that's exactly what I'll do deal with it. And you shouldn't ever expect me to be quite, not one of my strong suits, besides I have some words for that lucky charm mascot reject."

Gideon walked out of Cole's Office and descended to the ground floor of the Woodlands just as Max and Boogie whizzed off down the streets in Max's car, but not knowing who it was, he assumed it was just a couple of Mundy speeders. He saw the Caged Witch Rozalind in the lobby. Curious at seeing a Witch out of her normal residence, Gideon stopped to question her.

"Rozalind, what business brings you down here? You look sort of...dumbstruck."

Rozalin stood there dumbstruck after getting some cash and a hotel card from max, which was strange in of itself givwen free gifts were not really his thing without something attached to it, but also because he strangely sounded worried... Max was normally a rather calm and smooth person but right now he was in a sour mood, but either way it seemed like she had a night at a hotel for free.

It was at this point that Gideon joined in the lobby. "We just got word, something happened to Bigby" What was the point of keeping it secret "Max and Boogie have gone somewhere, no clue where. Well, I am off for a holiday night, so have fun with whatever you are doing" If he didn't stop her she would really just walk away and go to the 13th floor to get ready

Max rolled his eyes.

"Don't be so fucking dramatic. Jesus... goody two shoes hipocrits like you call ME a bastard and a criminal. And yet I am not the one who turns to violence and threats over petty emotions and feelings of pride. You sure have much to learn Boogie. Spending so much time in kid's dreams and reading books sure has blinded you to reality. But hey don't worry, I am sure Headless will be willing to help you out. I told him to come meet you tomorrow at work and help you settle in."

Max wasn't going to take no for an answer so he had arranged it before even speaking to Boogie. Not to mention he needed someone to keep an eye on Boogie until he decided what side is going to be on.

"Before you blow your facade, of an ordinary law obiding citizen, think about the concequences. Are you going to kill Mickey? Oh no, second chances and all, you are a changed man right?"

Max laughed before continuing.

"My point is, he is a vengefull bastard which you no doubt have picked up on by now. Plus he is a valuable asset to me. Meaning not only will he not die, he will want to get even. Sure, you can take care of yourself... what about those around you? Can you protect them 24/7? If you stopped being selfish for a second, you'd realize keeping your nose clean and helping me squel information from him right now is the best option. So I am only going to say it once, shut up and let me talk. I am sticking my neck out for you as a display of trust, don't make me regret it already."

Max was barely finished when he parked in front of Mickey's place.

"Oh and, you are free to defend yourself of course, just don't provoke him. Though I wouldn't worry, as long as I do the talking, I can convince even the devil himself to give me a blowjob."

Max smilled confidently as he stepped out and headed inside Mickey's which was uncharacteristicly quiet. He soon realised why......

"Don't touch anything. Put these on."

Max put on gloves and a hair net before tossing some for Boogie too. He would realize why very soon. The floor was littered in glamoured troll corpses and the place was wrecked, no sign of Mickey.

"Make sure no one saw us come in and inspect the corpses. I'll look in Mickey's office."

Max didn't skip a beat and headed furder in. He was not shy about stepping over the corpses. The dead have no need of pride or material things. His philosophy for dealing with the dead was jsut treat them like objects.

"People always expecting the worst from me, wonder why. I honestly think ?" Boogie said with a slight smirk. "There is a lot of ways someone can do to deal with a situation with out landing a hand on anyone Boy and I just so happen to know each and everyone of them. And I'm not sure about you but when a hit is put out on me I take it as a bit of a offence" He said before he took a drag of his smoke. Boogie offered Max a simple eye roll as he did is best to make him feel like he was bent over the barrel. "A few things Boy. One your right I won't kill Mick I don't want to get jackass on my shoes. Second like I said I'm going to talk, hell I might sing. Third I don't have loved ones for him to attack, less you couldn't tell by my apartment it is made for one. Lastly like I said I'll help you out with the job but legally, you doing fuck all with Mick will get you up shit creek and I'll be the one on land with your paddle." He said with a chuckle before using Max's dashboard to put out his smoke. He raised a brow as he exited the car and was handed the gloves and hair net, but his expression quickly changed from that of confession to that of disgust. "The hell is this Boy!?" Boogie said in an angered tone as he saw the bodies.

"Don't just assume I know everything.Now do what you are told you worthless dream catcher."

Max said as he dissappeared out back. No sign of Mickey but there sure was a sign of strugle. Or maybe someone was going through his things, either way Max didn't waste any time in making the place more of a mess. Didn't took him long to sniff out a locked safe which made him crack a smile.

"Thank Lucifer these idiots always find ways to make my job easier."

Looks like whoever payed Mickey a visit either had a key or was not intrested in the safe at all. Considering it was sealed after he assumed they didn't want or couldn't get whats inside.......

"No fucking way............"

He spotted a box of Lucky Charms near the safe. The moment he saw it Max's intrest peeked like it handn't all day. No way they were Mickey's were they? That would be......woah, jsut woah.... bareing that in mind Max got closer only to hear a light tick........when he peered over he frowned, this was new even for him at this point.

"Hell damn it." >:/

He was not ammused, running in a suit was hard.....but man was he motivated right now... A BOMB WOULD DO THAT TO A PERSON >:0

"Wise guy, get out now!"

The only warning Max gave as he jumped over the corpses and dashed past Boogie, not long after an explosition would follow.

Boogie was still waiting for some sort of answer from Max when he came running out of Mickey's office like a bat out of hell. He was barely able to catch what he was wailing on about. but luckily his years of being a so called monster taught him when someone is running nothing good is behind him. So with a quick turn on his heels Boogie was out of the building just as the fire engulfed the place. As he stood out side he looked at Max. "Okay boy... WHAT IN THE MOTHER FUCKING HELL JUST HAPPENED?!" He yelled almost knocking Max over in the process.

Gideon stopped her for a moment.

"Actually Roz, considering how things have been lately with all this business with the Fairy Dust and Bigby going missing, maybe I should accompany you out tonight? No need for any more faces in the building vanishing if we can avoid it, you know what I mean? If you wish, just name a place and time and I'll meet you there. I have to go back to my apartment to pick up a couple things anyway."

Gideon's soul stone turned from its opal hue to slightly topaz-golden around his neck as he said this, he could feel its heat against his skin. It changed colour and temperature based on his "alignment", an old way for Fairies to keep track of his actions and how trustworthy he could be. He made a mental note that he would have to do something "cold" before the end of the night to correct the balance, but he wasn't overly concerned about it.

"Ok, fine, just meet me here in the lobby in a few moments. Despite what Max said, I plan on checking out the woodsmen about this whole thing... The red Hood is a little too close to home with him so he may know something. First the hotel though so you can come with me." She stated before getting in the elevator that lead up to the 13th floor, waiting for Gideon to get on so he could get off on his floor and go to his apartment and get his things while she got hers.

Meanwhile Micky's bar burned in a lovely manner, all the drugs that were present within going up in smoke, well the weed did, gave everyone a nice buzz along with the smell of burning booze. The mundies had sent fire fighters and were on their way to the scene, but the two still had time before they arrived. However, from the shadows there was a cloaked figure, not of red but a dark blue. Walking out slowly from the shadows a tall man with a pool cue case on his back watched the burning building. The person was known as the headless horsemen, a sword for hire so to say. He was rarely within the areas due to crane but it seemed the fire caught his interest.

Gideon got on the elevator and got off at the floor of his office, stopping by there and going over to his safe, he unlocked it with the key in his pocket and revealed the sheathed curved sword of his informal office as Mediator among the Fairies. Enchanted to disappear back to its makers if one without the blood of the Fae folk were to touch it, it had been Gideon's for a long time. Grabbing a gym bag, he stuffed the sheathed sword into it, packing it full of used and sweaty gym clothes to conceal it initially if checked. He also grabbed the half of his ounces of gold which he kept in his office, the other half being in his bedroom apartment, he intended to repay his debts to the Wicked Witch of the North at her mailbox before he left.

He then dropped off the stack of letters he had looked through on he desk and locked the door behind him, heading back to the elevator and heading down to the lobby where he posited the glass jar contained one ounce of pure powdered gold into the Wicked Witch's mailbox, his soul stone now becoming even more like a Topaz. He then threw the gym back down at his feet and sat down waiting for Roz to return back down.
