#2. Rather than a totally firm post order though, just let it be for every "room," everyone in that room has to post once before the first person in the room to post can post again. That way people aren't waiting on other players who aren't even near them. Just let it be fluid and let us keep track of who is where and whatnot. I think that's kinda what you already said, but I wanted to give my take on it.If we want a group to wait so someone else can enter their "room," we can make a post in the OOC or something and ask them to hold up for a bit. So everyone would just have to keep an eye on the OOC.
EH, I'll have to disagree with you guys there. I've seen some good RP's go down in flames because of a so called 'posting order'. I'm not sure I totally understand your idea though, Killa.
Seems like a good idea! This way it's ordered and everyone gets involved.I'm definitely a fan of 'everyone posts once per round' rather than 'everyone posts whenever'. Not only because posts and posting may get disordered if everyone posts whenever, but also because then there may be a few players who keep thinking "Eh, I'll post soon... Probably..." and then never or rarely post. The round or room system kind of "forces" - but in a good way - players to write and interact with each other.
It doesn't force anyone to post. People who won't post won't post. A posting order isn't going to change that. They'll just not post sooner. If you have a problem with people not posting, you either tell them to post, or they get booted.
