She definitely didn't stop and hide the puddle of melted chocolate under a napkin- and a small plate... And the candle didn't blow out because of her toying with it. Nope. Not all. Must've have been the breeze or something like that. Quietly, Ace ate at the surprise sundae. Or sundae surprise. So far, the only thing that surprised her was how good it tasted. It didn't need to be repeated that she had nothing like it ever before. With spoon in her mouth, she looked up when Jasper asked her question. "Mmf, Thass, a good questiom." Her words were distorted, but nonetheless, she could be understood. Her gaze went over to Leila for a brief moment, realizing she had not said a word to the girl. She would have said something to make up for it, but the Queen started to speak. So, Ace settled with a happy wave before focusing on the woman in charge. "Yes, they were just like you...but they went mad." So that's what had happened? They didn't get everything as planned? It was quite a shame to hear such a thing, but then again, Ace still thought it would be nice to live in Nowhere. She was biased about her opinion obviously, but understood that everyone had important things when they got home. Ace didn't voice her opinion on that. She never did. Just as when Harper spoke of what they wanted to return for when the groups had been divided, she never answered. Not too delved in her own thoughts and misgivings, she noticed -and probably assumed- Harper paling in shock. "Hey, no worries! It's alright, we've got a good group. I trust that we'll get everything in time. You guys are pretty smart and tactile- and kind of weird, ha, so put it all together and we're one heck of a team!" Ace pushed the empty bowl forward, this time, not rushing to replace it. She didn't want to overindulge and then feel sick when she stood. Ace wasn't that insensible. "Just focus on your goal and why you want to get out of here. That should be motivation enough, right?" * With the new information- with the knowledge of other people Ace got to meet, she bounded after the queen. "I didn't know there would be new people! Awesome!" She was in step with the queen for awhile before she paused and looked back at the three. "Well don't just sit there! We have to go say hi to them!" Instead of waiting, which she probably could have done, she walked back, urging them along. It was something Harper and Jasper should've been used to- but this time it was probably the sweets she took in that made her do it. And yes, even Leila got urged along. No one was to be left behind! Ace took the lead and -surprisingly- waited for the door to be opened. Upon seeing them, Ace scanned the group. There was five of them. Rescanned. Oh wait, one of them was a Nobody, so only four. Two guys, a girl, and one she wasn't quite sure- but the person had bright pink hair, kind of like Pinky. She didn't mind it of course, and gave a welcoming smile. "Hi th-" Ace paused and then shook her head. "Wait, that's not right." She gestured towards the Queen and let her speak first. Let the girl in charge speak first. And then you can speak.' Ace waited for the Queen's welcome, and of course, whatever else she had to say. Once it fell silent, Ace waited just a few more seconds. Just in case she had anything else to add. . . When no more was said (or when she was done again) Ace grinned and gave her own greeting. "Hi there! Welcome to the group! I'm Ace! I'm sure you guys'll have fun with us. And," There was a pause as Ace rocked on her toes for a few moments. "Oh you should try the sweets! They're wonderful!" Now, everyone else was able to introduce themselves. As friendly as Ace was, she was still weary of people being cross. Not to her, but to the ones she seemed as her friends. So if one of them so happened to do such, she wouldn't hesitate to intervene.
