There are arrows around, some are about the same size as yours others are and others are too large for any of you to wield properly. There's corpses galore, an iron battleaxe that is too big for any of you to wield, a scythe stuck in a tree, what appears to be a weird statue in the middle of it all, and a hyptogryph (Players of doodlequest might be able to give you more info on it) perched atop a dead tree.
