Race: Human.... Well he thought he was..... He is actually a shape-shifter.
Power/abilities: Shifting - He can shift fully into many animal forms but his thoughts remain human, only clouded slightly with the animals instincts. He gains whatever traits the animal posses (so dog = better sense of smell) and these stay with him for up to an hour once he transforms back to his human form. He is currently unable to control which animal form he takes and primarily shifts due to heightened emotions, but can do it willingly if he concentrates. There is a possibility that in the future he will be able to take other forms that aren't animals, but for now lack of experience means such knowledge is out of his grasp.

Background & Personality: Saxon is a very positive person, always looking on the brighter side of a situation and never viewing something as a problem, more of a challenge. He is determined and fairly outgoing always taking situations light-heartedly and just wanting to have fun.
He is part of a large family (4 younger siblings and 2 older siblings) and lives by the coast in a small quaint town. One day when he and his youngest brother (Tommy - 6 years old) were out playing by the sea they got caught up suddenly by the tide and Saxon first found out he could shift forms when he transformed into a Seal out of fear when Tommy disappeared beneath a wave. The event itself was all a little hazy but it ended with them both reaching the beach just as it started to rain. Although Tommy was convinced he had been rescued by a seal (an Saxon knew it was the truth) his parents didn't believe the youngsters wild story and Saxon was able to keep the secret to himself a little longer. Since then he has been far more cautious, especially around his family, disappearing now and again to sneak off somewhere quiet by the coast and work on getting a better grasp on his new found ability. He continued to practise control, learning through trial and error - receiving an invitation to Swords and Heart Academy only 2 weeks later. Once he received the invitation detailing the nature of the school he was quick to accept knowing that the only way he could learn full control was to be with others in the same position as him and with those with the experience to teach him. He showed his parents to bare minimum and soon got them to agree to sending him there since he had held no other plans for his future as of yet and his parents had more than enough children to worry about.
Other: He is actually adopted, which is a suspicion of his but not yet confirmed as he never questioned his parents on the matter.
